Obtainable from the new achievement in 3.0.8 "Mountain o' Mounts added" - Obtain 100 mounts.

Only 280% speed -- kind of crappy, considering you pretty much have to obtain at least one 310% speed mount in order to get to 100!

Note that while this spell was found datamining, a search for "Reins of the Blue Dragonhawk" and "Reins of the Red Dragonhawk" yields no results.

I think it is likely that this means that no one (or at least no one with the wowhead client) has obtained the item yet.

HOWEVER:

Several achievement mounts, such as a few of the proto-drakes (not sure which ones), are automatically learned when you obtain the achievement - and you don't receive an item in the mail at all. That could also be the case here.

However (again), when you complete Leading the Cavalry, the prerequisite to this achievement, you receive the Reins of the Albino Drake is mailed to you from Mei Francis. I think it is likely that this mount would follow the same mechanics.

It seems that this mount has not been obtained at this time. (Or at least not by anyone with the Wowhead Client)

I so want one, but is gonna be a long slog form 51 mounts to 100, blizz need to bring in alot more mounts

Zoltan on Aegwynn (EU) got this. The mounts he got it etc. White Hawkstrider, Amani War Bear, Great Brewfest Kodo, Rivendare's Charger, all arena flying mounts and other rare mounts. So if you want it, start farm instances that drop mounts. :)

I can't believe that for such a difficult achievement they're still using the original dragonhawk model; you'd think they could fix it up a bit.

I mean, I could barely stand it when doing those SSO dailies; I'm not sure who would actually want this mount. It's just so incredibly obvious the model wasn't originally made as a mount, and it just looks fugly on most race(except for maybe gnomes).

my dad has been working on this achievement for so long and so far hes at 73 mounts. the only way to actually be sure of getting the achievement is... being lucky in dungeons and raids, doing a whole load of argent tournament with only the interest of mounts, and be exalted with every city, cenarion expedition, and kurenai. and on top of that have epic flying and make a whole lot of money to buy all the mounts from vendors of the faction
