In the Ruby Enclave, after you go up the ramp towards the Ruby Feast area, there is an entrance to the right, opposite to a water fountain. If you have the Torch Aura buff up gained by using the Torch of Pyrreth toy, you will find Kathos' Field Glasses inside an Enchanted Box.

Accept the quest from Kathos in the Rotten Ram Inn in Valdrakken.

Click on the icon of Pyrrex’s Torch (if you haven’t done so) to send it to the Toys tab. Then drag the Torch from the toy inventory to an action bar.

Click on the quest name to see the quest area in the Ruby Enclave. Click the Torch icon and your character will be shown holding the torch. The Torch will turn on by itself once you enter the Ruby Enclave. Check out enclosed buildings. I didn’t notice any special effects when I neared the location of the Field Glasses.

Look for a large purple chest on the floor. You’ll see a cogwheel when you mouseover it. Click to release the eyeglasses.

The torch you need to pick up (after doing the three levers) is INSIDE the fireplace, hanging on the wall, to the left of the fire.

The Torch of Pyrreth

Use the Torch of Opening to unlock Kathos' artifact, hidden somewhere in The Ruby Enclave.

Description

Let's begin with a simple test. I have hidden an artifact somewhere in the Ruby Enclave. If you have the torch out, it should illuminate when you get close to the target. And if my theory is correct, it should interact with a lock I put on the artifact. Bring me back what's inside. Got it?
