These drop off normal, heroic, and mythic mode. If you were lucky enough to get good drops in mythic this week and you want to blitz them you can get all 15 in normal in less than an hour. Here is some more text because it said it was too short...so how is everyone doing? Liking legion?

Update: They seem to have balanced all the dungeons to give you 5 no matter what, just giving you more from the final boss so this original comment is mostly unnecessary now.

You get one drop per boss kill in a legion dungeon, any mode.

If you want to minimize your DPS queues, plan your dungeons out perfectly so you don't have to defeat any extra bosses.

Quiz: which 3 dungeons have 5 bosses each? Answer: Vault of the Wardens, Halls of Valor, Eye of Azshara.

You won't get a follow-up quest (Jump-Capable) until you've also turned in Deadlier Warglaives. Note: You'll need to start the 'Obliterium Forge' quest line before that will appear. You don't have to unlock the forge, but do the stuff with the burning wagon if you are stuck at this stage.

Does Demon Hunter legendary campaign go longer than others? on my Pally an Mage i only went up until the quest that you have to do 30 world quests yet on Demon Hunter im still going...

Quest Fire!, as well as Deadlier Warglaives, is needed for Demon Hunter Class Hall campaign in order to get a quest Jump-Capable.

I completed the Paladin and Shaman class hall. Each required 2 dungeons.

Enjoying my Demon Hunter, but then I hit this... meaning I have to do 3-4 dungeons... sigh.

I guess I can spam Halls of Valor and hope for the smexy chest piece off of Fenrus. xD

Hi all,

Just a quick worthwhile mention that you CAN receive credit from Return to Karazhan bosses. Was wondering myself and did not see that info anywhere else, so thought I'd report back after giving it a try. A worthwhile alternative to running multiple regular Mythics for sure! :)

Every legion boss drops these, even those with... "corrupted" souls.

So once we slay our corrupted loved ones, we take their souls and use them as fuel.

I know this look at it isn't intended, but it's still sad to think about.

15x Skaggldrynk and 15x Warlord Parjesh in Normal Eye of Azshara does the job solo. Just make sure to always have 1-2 of the summoned adds up for the Warlord to impale. You can reset the instance and always get the quest item each run. GG!

If you're an ilvl 870+ DH tank, you can also easily do Normal Eye of Azshara full clears for 5 quest items.

You can actually loot more than one Sovereign Soul from a boss. I was doing Violet Hold normal where the first two bosses dropped one Sovereign Soul but the last boss dropped three!

Blizzard seems determined to force everyone into dungeons this expansion. Whatever happened to playing the game you want? Why even bother having PvP, pet battles and crafting if they want to make everyone play the raid/dungeon game?

I don't normally play melee classes because the lag on my internet makes it almost impossible. But I decided to give DH a try and have been loving it - up till now. I hate, hate, hate dungeons but I bit the bullet and did the vault of the wardens - now I need to do more dungeons? I simply can't do melee class in dungeons because of the lag. I can manage on my warlock because the distance makes allowance for the lag. So that is the end of my DH. Back to my warlock I guess.

If you are deciding if you should solo this, Maw of Souls Normal takes about 20 minutes in Vengeance spec at ilvl 891, gives 4 souls per run. I recommend doing 3 runs for 12/15 souls then doing King Ymiron 3 times for the last few.

Gear I used was mostly BoA Unsullied Token gear with some Relinquished pieces, no legendaries. The talents focused on single target DPS, namely Razor Spikes, Fracture and Spirit Bomb. You can freely pull large groups until the upper deck, where you'd want to keep the fear and healing enemies separate.

For BFA: In the Eye of Azshara dungeon, Warlord Parjesh is pretty much right at the dungeon entrance. Running in, Killing+looting him, going back out and resetting dungeon takes about a minute in total, and can be repeated up to 10 times before you get locked out for "entering too many dungeons recently". So you can either:
A) Do the whole dungeon until you can just kill him the remainder of the times
B) Kill him + second boss 7-8 times
or
C) Kill him 10 times over right after one another because you forget that "max dungeons per hour" is a thing, and spend some of your time waiting for the dungeon lock to reset with posting tips in the comment section of wowhead quests...

As of 8.3, the fastest way to complete this quest, imo is the following: Kill the first 3 bosses of Eye of Azshara (takes about 3 mins in Normal), and right after Serpentrix, you can kill yourself by running into the lightning storms near Wrath of Azshara (final boss), which will bring you back to the entrance. Rinse and repeat 4 more times.

As of 8.3, I'd recommend you solo run normal Maw of Souls. Each run takes about 5-8 minutes and rewards 5x Sovereign Soul. Should only take you 15-25 minutes in total.

Did this fast and easy by clearing Eye of Azshara solo on Normal, Heroic and Mythic within 30 minutes. Each run yielded an average of 7 souls.

I did this quest in Shadowlands 9.0.5 in Wrath of Azshara.
Completed a Normal run and a Heroic. Every boss dropped 1 item except the last boss. In Normal, the last boss dropped 3 items, in HC it dropped 2 pieces. Overall 13 in 2 runs. So I went back after a dungeon reset and killed the first 2 bosses on normal for the last 2 pieces. Took roughly an hour with a lvl50 legion geared character.

Did this on a Level 70 DH during The War Within and found that regardless of the difficulty of the dungeon, you will get one Sovereign Soul per boss, with the final boss of the dungeon dropping one extra. Using Eye of Azshara (5 bosses) as an example, you would get a total of 6 Sovereign Soul's per full clear of the dungeon. Depending on which dungeon you do, you would need to clear at least 2.5 times in order to get enough Sovereign Soul's to complete the quest.

Personally I would suggest Eye of Azshara since it's a short flight from Dalaran, has 5 bosses that are easy to access, and can be completed in just a few minutes since you can mount up and ride to each boss while basically ignoring all the trash mobs. It's very quick compared to some of the others.

During legion remix, I can say, doing normal Halls of Valor, I was getting 2-3 per boss, NOT a consistent 3 per.

For Legion Remix: My first run of Eye of Azshara on MYTHIC netted me 13, just leave, reset the instance to HEROIC and kill the first boss only, if you still don't have your 15, leave reset to NORMAL and repeat till you have 15, easy.

During Legion Remix - Don't try to get this by running Raids on any difficulty - you wont get any credit towards it.
This will only drop in dungeons - Normal/HC only.
