Just finished this on live (Terenas EU) and it just seemed to stop after killing the boss. Doesn't say what to do next despite being marked as complete, so I went back through the courtyard and killed / looted the remaining trash mobs. Having done that I returned to Jaina at the top of the stairs and used the portal. This takes you back to the base established in the previous stage and I then got the instruction to hand in the quest to Jaina at her usual position.

worth noting that Vareesa does ranged dmg to him - you need to get away from him when he does the lightning pole spell - then kite him; ensure you have a pot or 2 to use, his spell is not interrupt-able by rogue KS although he was stunnable using CS to start with. I died several times before realising that running was the trick - when I came back the last time Vareesa was fighting him and nearly had him, maybe bring him to her may work better than kiting?

After entering the scenario, go forward and get the bomb on the left of the walkway, you'll see it on minimap as a cogwheel. 2 trolls attack after you exit from the starting building and the bomb is protected by 4 other trolls. Avoid or kill the huge patrollers on the walkway. Time consuming, but you may get a green if you kill them. After you get the bomb, take it to Velreesa (open the worldmap, you'll see a chatbubble where she is), you blow up the wall and now you have to kill the troll from the cinematic, War God Al'Chukla. Go trough the blown-up wall and head left avoiding or clearing trash until you reach the central walkway, he's up the stairs on the plateau, appears as skull on minimap. He only has 1 special skill, summons a thunderpillar, which draws you slowly towards it and explodes after a few seconds. Run away from the blue thunderpillar and you'll be fine. When he's dead take the portal next to Velreesa back to Jaina.
Side fact: if your character dies at any moment, release spirit and you will be resurrected in 5 seconds in the building you started.
Side fact 2 : after killing the thundertroll, if you walk up to the uppermost gate and you can see Shan Bu's healthbar on the other side with over 4 million hp. Managed to pull him somehow on my hunter character, it's not worth it tho, has no special abilities, just keeps pounding with his mace and drops absolutely nothing.

As a Rogue after blowing up the wall I just stealthed up to the War-God and killed him. You don't get any help from the NPCs, but it wasn't a tough fight (I'm iLevel 490) and I didn't have to wade through the trash. You get credit for clearing the courtyard when the War-God dies (at that point the NPCs come up).

The huge elites are totally worth killing 100+ black prince rep each and they are super slow and kiteable.

Intergalactics comments are right on and really helped me do this but would add one other note:

After getting the bomb, it will not show in your inventory but the quest will change "to deliver". Expected she would be up the path at the gate where a group of them were fighting the mobs.. After killing and killing and killing finally figured out this was not the correct place.

My map did not show any kind of talk bubble for her. So, up the path, hang a right before getting into a fight with the mob. Follow the wall around and she with another fighting group up on a rise with Jaina. Then it was all so simple.

After completing the objectives, I tried to use the portal and it wouldn't let me. I simply left the instance and immediatly I was standing next to Jaina, and was able to turn in the quest.

Description
