This is quite possibly the stupidest quest I've ever seen.. I watch the raiders sneak in, steal the rams, run out on the rams, THEN attack Amberstill. And I stand there the whole time, apparently unable to do anything about it, in spite of seeing the whole thing go down.

I don't know if this is happening for anyone else, but the last couple of times I have done this quest, you are able to kill all the trolls that are attacking. In the past, you could only kill four before the last one runs off.

I'm wondering if this is a bread crumb quest. I completed the "Strike from Above" pre-requisite quest but was not offered this quest. I checked and found that I have already completed the Amberstill Ranch quest "It's Raid Night Every Night". Hoping someone knows the answer.

Description

The reports I'm sending Captain Tharran can't really convey the amount of trouble the Frostmanes have created for us. Your assault on the village has started to relieve some of the pressure. The raids are still frequent, but the trolls don't have the numbers they once did.

Even so, my men are tired and their morale is flagging. Would you help us keep watch for the Frostmane raiders? They could turn up at any time.
