The first three ships are at the north end of the beach, and the final one is at the south end of the beach.

Just a note, The anvil is a ship, so you dont search for an anvil for 10 minutes like I did :D

Is it just me or does the name/wording of this quest make no sense?

Typically "effigy" refers to a dummy or mock-up of a hated person/public figure which is burned to show contempt for that individual.

Death knights: This quest is made easier by the path of frost skill. Head straight from the siege engines towards the water and use the PoF skill. You shouldn't agro any mobs and can safely get to each boat. However burning them from the water doesn't seem to work, so you will have to go towards dry land for each boat (and thus might encounter 1 or 2 mobs at each boat).

Also something to note (if you have a flying mount at this point) don't fly onto the boats & start them on fire, it will hurt you & it ticks for about 500-600 dmg a second (on plate I dunno if it's diffrent for other armor classes) & it's hard to get off of them & you can't mount when you're getting hurt! You probably won't die, but it was scary :P

i see to be having a problem with this quest. After i ride the tank over near the boat and fire once or twice i become dismounted. Not quite sure why and i was hoping the good people of Wohead could help.

Burn in Effigy

Waltor of Pal'ea at the Coast of Echoes in the Borean Tundra wants you to use the Tuskarr Torch to burn the Kvaldir ships at Pal'ea and Garrosh's Landing. You must destroy the following ships: The Serpent's Maw, The Kur Drakkar, Bor's Hammer and Bor's Anvil.

Description

Tuskarr magic is similar to what your people call shamanism. While we serve the elements differently than you, the power that we are able to call forth is formidable.

<Waltor waves a torch-like baton in front of you.>

With this tuskarr torch I want you to return to the mist and strike at the Kvaldir vessels. You will find three of their vessels docked behind the mist at Garrosh's Landing, north of here, and one docked off the shores of Pal'ea, to the south. Burn their ships in effigy! For all to see!
