Does this quest have any prerequisite quests? Why doesn't the site list prerequisites and follow-ons so we can see if a quest is in a chain or not? Thanks for the help.

46.30, 83.65 to be exact.

You have to do every Darkshore quest and it leads to the furbolgs. There's 90 Darkshore quests that lead up to the furbolgs. So it's impossible to document.

Not true. Perhaps it's changed since your post, but I was on my way to Ashenvale to get some Warsong Gulch gear on my lvl 20. I bypassed all the quest givers from Lor'Danel on until I saw none other than Malfurion Stormrage at The Eye of the Vortex with a shiny yellow "!" above his head. I stopped and started questing in Darkshore from there which lead me to this quest.

Ya go ahead a down rate this comment then go do those 90 quests instead of just starting this chain rtards.

Just for anyone looking to do this quest in recent times. I just did it at level 48 and had no prerequisite. Rode straight down to Brolg and did his 3 VERY simple and fast quests and the 4th one "The Defiler" rewards the bow etc.

Elder Brolg at Blackwood Hold wants you to kill Sharax the Defiler.

Description

The Jadefire satyrs of Felwood have found their way into Darkshore, tainting the land, water, and creatures they encounter. You've seen what their corruption has done to my people and their homes. If we do not turn back the satyrs, all of us will share that fate.

Within the cave to the east is Sharax the Defiler, the satyr responsible for the ills of the Blackwood. Slay him, <name>, and free us from his influence. Show the satyr that the Blackwood will not lay down and die so easily.
