You can find three Winterfall Runners anywhere along the path from Timbermaw Hold to Winterfall Village, one of which will be carrying the crate you need to turn in to Donova Snowden to complete the quest. The hardest part about finding the three Runners is picking a time to look for them when they haven't already been killed. A lot of people grind for reputation around here, so there's a good chance they have been killed, especially since they wander the road.

These three respawn at the entrance to Timbermaw Hold within a minute of being killed. If you are looking to farm Winterfall Firewater, Winterfall Spirit Beads of Winterall E'ko, you can do worse than hanging around at their spawn-point.

A handy tip. If you're willing to feel lucky, just head to the Winterfall runner next to the cauldron from a few quests back. He may or may not drop it, but he did for me.

Edit: I finished this quest a few days ago again and confirmed that the Runner back in Felwood will, indeed always drop said crate, as stated below.

Even through they show up as aggressive (red), they usually leave you alone unless you are at the end of their run in Winterfall Village or attack them first.

Just to stop people making the same silly mistake I made: the Winterfall Runners travel from Timbermaw Hold to Winterfall Village, not vice versa as I thought. I spent a good twenty minutes waiting for them to spawn in the village after I couldn't find them on the road. After getting fed up waiting, I decided to go farm the Runner in Felpaw Village instead. As I was travelling down the road, I saw them coming toward be from the direction of Felwood, and my embarrasment was great.

I see these fools nonstop when not on this quest. Of course the second I get the quest they are know where to be found.

Try using a "/target Winterfall Runner" macro just to avoid running into a 3 monster group without noticing or to miss it.

Found it at Felpaw Village, at said coordinates. He's standing near the cauldron. I've once wiped the place for Deadwood of The North.

If you're looking for these guys and they aren't on the road, they're probably out in the Wilderness.

These are very oddly bugged right now. Several can be up at once, often at the same spot. Often not moving. They like to despawn when attacked when they're standing still.
