Are we seriously going back to this @#$% again? There was a reason Blizzard went away from this at the end of Cataclysm and it was to give players more choice about the pets they brought with them. Hunters are already up in arms about losing Hati. Can't wait to see their reaction to this.
In a way, being forced into a certain type of pet (which looks and feels bad tbh) sucks bad. This takes away from the unique style you have created and the versatility of the class itself. It does not harm to allow someone to use a bear as dps over tank spec. This change will only hinder those of us who choose a pet based on looks not stats.
Apparently, hunters are terribly OP when any pet can have any spec...Not sure I'm thrilled about my Spirit Beasts becoming Tenacity.
Ya'll forgot to mention (or even check?) if the DPS output between the various pet specs are the same, or if we're going back to the "Ferocity pets are PvE, Tenacity are Solo, and Cunning are PvP" thing. Very important. Please update.
Bad change, through and through.
Are you $%^&ing kidding me with Spirit Beasts being tanking pets? Really? This better change.
Another FAIL! Looks like they really pooped the bed on this one. On the bright side, maybe we can have our staves back, I really enjoyed have a really big stat stick. And while they are on a kick to going old school, can we have our special arrows and quivers back too please?
THIS IS ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE. CALM DOWN. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE THROWING TEMPER TANTRUMS RIGHT NOW.
It maybe subject to change, its alpha dont worry etc... but the fact someone or group of people thought this was a good change is worrying and bad
This is what I wanted! :D
Sounds good to me!
Even though yes, it says "alpha, subject to change"That is the EXACT reason hunter players need to speak up about it NOW, and LOUDLY, not save it for later when everything is already locked in.
I wonder if the spec specific passives are gone too. If they are, then pet dps will all be the same and its only for the special spec abilities that you'll be changing pets.
