That seems unfair, Perc. Really.

I think things being more exclusive gives the game more flavor, should be more of it.

Comment by Lughnasadh

I still don't have the tol'vir one, and I am at over 400 solves. However, I have no issues with this. The graphic update is a nice touch for those.

I agree, and that comes from someone who doesn't have the mount :)

Didnt play in vanila, massive mount collected, this makes me pissed for missing it.

A true jewel of dedication. I wish I could have one. But, I’m content with seeing the veterans having a little reward.

Ion giving himself perks again I see. /s

I don't mind exclusive content, but adding exclusive content more than a decade after the fact seems weird.

What do you think of Blizzard's decision to add a mount that's only available to a few players?

I have no issue with it. Not every thing in the game is meant to be available to every one & this is coming from someone who didn't start until Cata.

Not only that, but they already had a special mount for it, so they get yet another one? This doesn't seem like it's like the others and only exists during the event.Oh well.

If Classic server allow battlenet connectivity, and allow mounts to be brought to current W oW, I will have this mount! If not, I will not collect this mount!

Comment by Darkwingdoc

This sums up my thoughts exactly.

I really enjoyed contributing to the war effort back then, but I wasn't anywhere near dedicated enough to even consider going for Scarab Lord. It wasn't an easy feat to snag, and I don't mind seeing an updated version of that mount for those that were able.

EDIT: Oops, mis-quoted lol...

I was replying to Righthero's

I don't understand the logic behind this. They've got a unique title and mount already, why are they getting another one? More to the point, why is this a thing 12 years later, and are they going to attempt the same thing for other expansions (such as "Hand of Adal" or those who got "Herald of the Titans" before the TW event)?

Comment by Aarkan

I dig it.

Comment by GormanGhaste

...I can't even imagine their thought processes that led them to think this was a good idea.

Comment by Cronovey

I don't really see why they would go over the mount and give it a fresh coat of paint. I have other exclusive mounts/titles that haven't seen the same treatment, so why this one in particular? On top of that, it seems like time that could have been spent working on other content such as fresh new mounts for BfA instead when you're really rewarding a very, very, very small minority of players with this one. Even assuming that 3-4 players per realm got it, you're looking at a mount that is going to reward maybe a couple thousand players in total even if every single one of them was still playing on all servers that opened the gates.

It just seems like the time could probably have been better off dedicated somewhere else.

Comment by BurneePally

I wish I could get the mount in some way... hmmm but I'm glad those who got shafted by people ringing the going at 3 am will get their mount.

Comment by dj4aces

I understand giving it to the Scarab Lord achievement holders, but why not put something in that would allow players to earn one? Or, even just earn a permenant red/blue version?

Seeing that so few gain access to this (and, let's be honest, even fewer of those still play) is a little hard to swallow.

Comment by Solignon

You're kidding right? It was hilariously easy to snag, because most the people who have it nowadays are people who server transfered during Wrath to sneak the title/reward.

Few to none of the original Scarab Lords still play.

Comment by warcrafteel

Cool idc about any of this. shouldn't be given out in the first place.
