Is "(Achievement #2145)" the "What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been" achievement? The link doesn't work/is broken (it's there twice in the guide). Other than that, I'm excited to do this!
On the start of the Achievements section, two achievements doesn't work (for me).Very nice looking guide.
CRZ is going to F' this over. Normally it's 10 - 20 people per realm, per starter zone hunting turkeys.... multiply that by 5 - 8. Turkinator's going to be a little harder to get this year. Lurkey may be easier to do... but very few people make rogues now.. almost everyone's on their panda. But, then again, maybe, just maybe, blizz took CRZ into account before they released the holiday.
is it me or didnt they change/add a single thing for this event?
It's time to cook.
The only yearly event in Warcraft that I hate...still won't be getting my turkey pet.
Is there anything new? (other than Celebration Package which actually belongs to WoW's 8th Anniversary though)
I am not seeing the table at the SW gates.... am I at the wrong location?
If there's anything new this year, please put it in the opening paragraph since I don't want to read the whole guide with a fine-tooth comb looking for new stuff. Thanks!
How long would it take to get the full item set?
They added Worgen and Goblin Rogues as a requirement for Turkey Lurkey.
Even with CRZ I was still able to do Turkinator with no opposition. Of course it's at 4AM server time so your results may vary.
To level cooking, get enough mats for all dailies (for 7 days), and do all quests, will require 435 Autumnal herbs, 145 each mild spices, simple flour, , , , , and 725 honey. As this will require 99 bag slots, plus room for holiday recipes, just remember to get each rare item *145 when you get to each town. Also remember not to start cooking until you have the "cook 5 of " quest for that . Enjoy!Edit: Add 5 pumpkin pie and 5 spice bread stuffing to the list, thanks you catastrophile.
They're Ravenous In Darnassus requires 5 Pumpkin Pies, not Cranberry Chutney as stated. This may have been changed to cut out an extra trip to Ironforge for people following the quest chain. I don't remember if it was the same last year.Edit: This also changes the total ingredient counts as posted my amccandliss . . . I get 730 honey, 150 spices & flour, and 440 herbs, plus an extra 5 pumpkins (since you're doing 5 pies twice).
Anybody know yet if the slow-cooked turkey recipe still goes grey at 430, or have they updated it again for Pandaria?Edit: Looks like the recipes might have been updated. Spice Bread Stuffing didn't go yellow until 105 when its entry here says it should go yellow at 90. Went grey at 130 vs. 115 from last year.
You are playing a Pandaren, nobleknight.
