Agreed, but he obviously doesn't want to come back, just insult people still playing.
Hm, this sounds nice enough but not like something I'd be jumping for joy about. An additional 80 'bank' slots for 1000g, and then additional gold to deposit -and- withdraw it? And it loses all enchants? Meh.However. If this service is indeed accessible account-wide, like it's been vaguely hinted at, then I'll be one of the first to kiss Blizzard's feet and be thrilled with this new service. It would mean I could finally move about my heirlooms to all those lowbie alts on my RP realm, and maybe even fund the less successful toons by distributing BoE stuff that can be resold on another realm/faction.
I have many craft bags do you ?
I like the sound of it. And I can see why there getting rid of any customisation on the items to save space on the servers. But 80 items really? That is not even 4 backpacks. I wish I could disable some character slots given we all get 50 (across multiple servers) and get there bank space on my main.
This isn't going to be a new bank, just a place where you can store items that you would otherwise delete. Prices can be placeholders, but if they put for free or a small fee people will use as an additional bank slot, witch they don't want. They are implementing many things that players desired long ago, maybe when they release their new MMO, it would already have those functions implemented and improved.
I would love to see just how many people drop the 1000G for this, only to get pissed off when Blizz decides to drop the price down to 100G six months later.Hmm... I'm getting a sudden feeling of deja vu...
I can handle the 1000g to open the service ...But 100g to use it way too much. A 10g fee per batch and stripping enchants should be enough to keep it from being abused as just more bank storage. Maybe forbid anything not equipable or useable ... void storage is NOT your herb or ore bin.Allow Transmogrification without withdrawal? That would cut down movement in and out, and not effect accounts as badly.Maybe another feature to retrieve old quest rewards directly to void storage for a fee ... you get a list of your quests, and can choose one to grab. This will allow DKs to retrieve their old armor sets. The service needs to be expensive enough to prevent enchanters from using it to farm disenchant items. And it probably needs an iLvl limit ( old gear only ).
