To me, this seems like the perfect opportunity to make a character wide storage system, perhaps you want to send your BoA's to another Server, this could take the ease out of it, without having to add an extra feature in the mailbox just for BoA'sPut your BoA in therego to different servermake new characterwithdraw BoA's on new characterEveryone's happy

O.k. I like the idea of more storage and find this Void Storage a more than just compensation for the loss of my beloved keyring but in the "What were they thinking?" category I'd like to note the following:"It's a great place to store a treasured old armor set," says Blizzard proudly. But wait! All gems, reforgings, enchants, sockets and all that stuff that made the gear my own will be stripped away by placing it in Void Storage.I don't mind the cost of opening an account and in the real world we've gotten all too used to banks robbing us blind for the use of our own money so why shouldn't the Ethereals learn from Bank of America, Citibank or Wells Fargo and the Mafia? But having to re-gem, re-reforge and re-enchant any items placed in this new storage area is both a hidden cost and a great reason NOT to place armor or weapons in Void Storage. There goes one problem for which this turns out to be a non-solution.And what about those buffs on items? Will placing my tabards in Void Storage strip them of their ability to increase my reputation with a faction or port me to a specific location? If so, the utility of Void Storage is further diminished. How about all the low level enchanting materials I keep on hand to help out lowbies? If I place those in Void Storage do they instantly degenerate into grey crud to be scraped off my Void Storage slot? There are a lot of things in game that unnecessarily cost a lot of gold. And there are things that pick our very real pockets for in game achievements and the like (e.g. pets and mounts only available at the Blizzard Store or through the Trading Card Game). I don't object to them much because I keep trying to convince myself that my money goes to building cool expansions with great artwork and interesting quests, dungeons and raids. But I'm not sure that I eagerly desire a feature that doesn't really do what it claims to do and fails to do that at a high cost. I'd be much happier if I could buy additional spaces for the basic backpack up to the number in the largest currently available common bag (i.e. currently 26 slots). I'd have a huge amount of free bank space if my spellbook had a tabard tab to go with those for mounts and companions. Those additions would be infinitely more useful than Void Storage seems right now. But, perhaps there IS a use for Void Storage now that we're going to have Transmogrification. If I thought that an old armor set looked really, REALLY great and still have that beloved old armor set I can now transmogrify my current armor. So, I wonder if Void Storage is as much a solution to a problem as it is advertising and an inducement for transmogrification? Hmmm?Yes, <smattering of applause> more storage is welcome. Thank you Blizzard. I say that with no sarcasm. But think about this a bit more. Keeping armor as is makes the new feature far more useful, the storage less financially onerous and the applause for you game designers a lot louder.
I now lament having "deleted" all of those items I held on to for four years+, finally giving up hope that I would ever have use for them in such a fashion. <cry>
Hi, Fenomas, et al.,
If I put an item on my Druid into the void storage, can I take said item out on a different character on a different realm?
And of course its located in Stormdrain.. I so hate that town lol
100g item.. seriously hope it at least gets cut in half
