So many awesome macros here! And yes /startattack is win. After writing this guide, I'm tempted to find some more stuff on my alt rogue (oh god with the bagspace on my main), like that rotund figurine.
This is perfect! I have an RP wedding to go to on Saturday, and I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out something fun to give that didn't actually cost me hundreds of gold. :)
There is a quest in the Shimmering Expanse called Gauging Success. I've never turned it in for fear that the hundreds of Naga lined up in rank and file might be a phased area, and one or two rounds of picking their pockets is normally enough for two stacks of Rogue's Draught. Best pick pocket area in the game right now, imho.
I'm disappointed that Shark Bait isn't mentioned at all. :(
Just a tip. I found that Zul'gurub-aman is a very nice place for farming. The npc's there wont attack you and theres plenty of them.
this makes me want to literally pull an allnighter just 2 make a rogue n lvl it all night and 2mrrw... :)
Decahedral Dwarven Dice roll between 1 - 100, not 1 - 10. Please fix.
Imo,MoP totally ruined fun of pickpocketing. Now it's only an additional way to earn money.List of pickpocketable items from (MoP):http://www.wowhead.com/items?filter=cr=75:166;crs=1:5;crv=0:0so Junkbox+ one quest item+ 15 gray trash items...I hate lack of items that made pick pocketing interesting like Dices, Beverages or Rogue's Dairy.Only Tasty Rock and A Steamy Romance Novel: Hot and Misty reminds us of all those series of funny and interesting pickpocketable items form previous patches. Only 4 of those items got funny description what was one of symbols of pickpockeable items before MoP.so every humanoid in Pandaria(and in Scholomance and SM) got set of 4 pickpocketable items( one 5g trash + Vine-Cracked Junkbox + 2 other trash items). You will probably get the most money from pickpocketing Mogu and Mantids because they got the most valuable set of pickpocketable trash(List of Rabble/Culture/Heroes to...).Junkboxes like always contains gold and one of: epic pickpocketable loot(Gloaming Blade and Krol Scmitar), colorful gems of Pandaria, master healing potion(Rogue's drought was so unique...) and random green pandaria ring(this is new thing in junkboxes). To sum up Pandaria is the most boring(but propably most lucrative) land for robbers. And the only cool thing in pickpocketing after pandaria is Glyph of Disguise which allows us to look like pickpocketed mob.
You can't really complain, the Vine-Cracked Junkbox has an albeit rare chance, to drop Krol Scimitar or The Gloaming Blade
i dont complain on Junkboxes because its the only thing that isnt worst than before pandaria(but after deleting Throws ,they could add some rogue-only ring or necklace or trinket or Blade and Scimitar could have their own unique model).I complain because pickpocketing is only about gaining extra gold w/o funny/interesting content.
The really screwed up thing about MoP is lockpicking. Engineers can use an item from Cata to open boxes. Blacksmiths can use an easy to make, low skill item to open boxes. Rogues have to get to lvl 90 before they can open the same boxes.
Decahedral Dwarven Dice roll between 1 - 100, not 1 - 10. Please fix.I believe this is intended behavior, as it is a pair of dice and two 10-sided dice are the classic way of rolling a value 1-100 (I am such a D&D nerd). The really screwed up thing about MoP is lockpicking. Engineers can use an item from Cata to open boxes. Blacksmiths can use an easy to make, low skill item to open boxes. Rogues have to get to lvl 90 before they can open the same boxes. The "pickpocket scaling with leveling" thing kind of bothers me too. At least it's automatic but I almost wonder whether it should just be a pseudo-profession so lower level Rogues can get open lockboxes that would require them to actually get a higher level. In short, lockpicking level caps would be tiered in a manner similar to professions, unlocking automatically at appropriate levels and being increased the old-fashioned way (at the bare minimum).Until then, however, I guess I have to keep making those skeleton keys.
