Got these gloves at lvl 36 and I am still using them at 53. I am a hunter and the attack power on these gloves is awsome. I also put a +5 agility enchant on them for 1g so there really good. Also not only are they good gloves but they look awsome even on a troll. I have seen these gloves on gnomes, drani, blood elfs, and tauren, every time it makes the character look alot better. Need roll them if they drop in SM if your a shaman or a hunter.
i agree, great starting mail gloves
but, where these gloves shine is the 39 twink arena, the attack power+good stam boost and solid armor make them perfect for a warrior or a pally.
+5 agi is also good for BG
These are also very nice for 40 hunters or so.Aso very nice for shamans.
agree with caldo nice for twinking lvl 39 as a warr/pally slap on a +24 ap on them and woha nice gloves for low price:) have them on my twink!
Hunters, Paladins, Warriors, Shamans.
All classes who can equip these gloves gain a lot from them.
name of gauntles speak for it self, these are divine gauntles
With +7 stam and +32 AP they already are quite notable plus you can put any outland enchants on these, like +15 str or +26 AP which realy just makes justice for these gloves.
These are and will be lvl 39 twink gloves.
Great for others too.
If you can get these as a hunter, put a 26 ap enchant on them and they will last you quite a good while because with 58 ap they are pretty ridiculous, and the 26 ap enchant is only 8 arcane dust and that will likely run you somewhere around 16g ish which is quite cheap for how sick it will make these.
Everything runs different on different servers. It may very well cost his 30g for this enchant.
Is this glove worth replacing
and loosing the 10 hit rating?
Yes i think it's worth it
imo by far the best twink gloves in the 30-39 bracket for mail wearers.
ugly as sin, but good. but also ugly. very ugly. maybe its just because i play a tauren, and they look stupidly huge.
No. The best twink gloves for a melee dps in the 30-39 bracket are
. Sure you lose 7 stam and 12 AP, big deal, but you gain over 1% crit chance. Crits are what kill your opponent in 2 shots.
..and armor doesn't mean anything in a twink bracket unless you're class like warr/pally that plans on going defensive to flag carry.
Also useful to enhancement shamans.
I dont care how many minus ratings I get for this comment, but I NEED this :D
Confirmed that it only drops from Scarlet Commander Mograine.
mail drops in scarlet monastery that our beloved hunters actually should need on. I'm sorry for writing this here as "HUNTER L00T" posts belong on thottbot, but I die a little inside every time I see a hunter wearing all the
with strength and stamina on it.
I'll rest my case if a hunter decides to wear this
if he can't find anything better.
Great starter gloves for an Enhancement shaman upon dinging 40
My RNG luck must be really bad. I've killed the guy 10 times already and have yet to see these drop. Last piece I need to complete my SM set. :-(
I've seen the mace once and the shield nine times.
Can anyone confirm whether this does still drop from Mograine?
What was useful for a lot of classes just went to being really useful for some and not so much for others. The ap has been changed to agi, benefitting hunters mostly and possibly shamans after that, while paladins and warriors will be forced to look elsewhere for gloves that give them str.
The hit rating is a nice nod, however, I still find it odd how they changed the stats to agi considering hunters and shamans can't even use this until level 40. Not to mention, at level 40, hunters and shaman can get
(now level 40 from a retuned Scholo) or
Gautlets of Accuracy
(now level 40 from a retuned Dire Maul). I just feel that this item is somewhat of an oversight, hopefully it will go back to strength so people at the appropriate level can make use of them.
edit: According to the ptr, this item has 16 agility, not 13.
edit edit: Must have been downrated by hunters and shammies wanting this :P Nah, but really, some of this information is useful, not sure why I was downrated exactly. I listed some other options for hunters and shamans at level 40, and corrected some stats too. Oh well.
An unusual skin for mail gloves, with a bright red colour scheme to boot. Also likely to be removed in MoP - moggers get in quick :)
With MP comming out and the change to scarlet monistary,I highly advise transmoggers to get this now before MP comes out.
Unfortunately, like the matching boots, belt and shoulders, these are not plate. However, I still wear them out of combat for my 'Arathor Knight' set.
RNGs hate me. I've killed this boss 20 times in the last 2 days, and still no gloves.
