This is one of the old-style armorless epic mounts which are now unavailable.

Back in vanilla times all the vendor mounts was BoE (Binds when equipped), and you could send the mounts by AH (Auction House) and mails.

The level req was level. 55, just found an old picture of a level 55 undead rogue on a Black Ram, also the epic mount costed 1000g and it was ALOT at that time.

I have one of these and would love to know how rare it is compared to the other Old School Ride mounts.

The Black Ram was one of the original mounts which were removed with patch 1.4 and are no longer obtainable in the game.
Players who had one of these mounts received the Old School Ride achievement.

Alliance Mounts:
Dwarf - Black Ram, Frost Ram
Gnome - Icy Blue Mechanostrider Mod A, White Mechanostrider Mod B
Human - Palomino Bridle, White Stallion Bridle
Night Elf - Reins of the Ancient Frostsaber, Reins of the Nightsaber
