For this quest, bring your orphan to the Secret Lab (map) in Azshara. He wants to ride an experimental rocket found at the Southern end of the Rocketway and blast off!

Strong New Allies
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Horde Embassy in Orgrimmar, the place where you go for Allied Race quests.

The Fallen Chieftain
For this quest, bring your orphan to Red Rocks (map) in the Northeastern mountain range of Mulgore. He wants to pay tribute to the now-deceased Cairne Bloodhoof by visiting his funeral pyre. To get to Mulgore from Orgrimmar, take the zeppelin to Thunder Bluff.

You Scream, I Scream...
For this quest, your orphan wants to try a new type of ice cream! All you have to do is head to the Goblin Slums (map) in Orgrimmar, where you'll find that a crazy Goblin mage, Snixx Quickfreeze, has set up a shop called Cone of Cold, which sells Cone of Cold. He's near the cooking trainer Zarbo Porkpatty and is surrounded by icy elementals. Buy the frosty treat and share it with your orphan to receive credit. Warning, if you're a Mage, your Cone of Cold macros may be broken!

Let's Go Fly a Kite
For this quest, your orphan wants to fly kites with you! Buy Dragon Kite 2-Pack from Blax Bottlerocket, a Goblin who wanders around the Drag (map) of Orgrimmar, and then go fly the kite with your orphan to receive credit.

A Warden of the Horde
Buy a Foam Sword Rack from Blax Bottlerocket, a Goblin who wanders around the Drag (map) of Orgrimmar. Then, return the Orcish Orphan to the Matron in Orgrimmar and you will be given your choice of one of the following:

Cruisin' the Chasm
For this quest, bring your orphan to Sentinel Hill (map) in Westfall. Your orphan wants to rent a chopper and see the destruction Cataclysm has wrought firsthand, so hop in one of the choppers next to Twilber Torquewrench to get started!

Our New Friends
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Stormwind Embassy, north of the Dwarven District in Stormwind and quest hub for many Allied Races.

The Biggest Diamond Ever!
For this quest, bring your orphan to Hall of Thanes (map) in Ironforge. This gate takes you to Old Ironforge and your orphan would like to explore it to pay tribute to the deceased King Magni Bronzebeard.

To get to the Hall of Thanes from Stormwind, take the Deeprun Tram from the Dwarven District. Once in Ironforge, head to the faction leaders' throne room, to the southwest of The Great Forge. There is a huge open door in their throne room, leading to some cobweb-filled corridors that will take you to Old Ironforge.

You Scream, I Scream...
For this quest, your orphan wants to try a new type of ice cream! All you have to do is head to the Blue Recluse (map) in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind City where you'll find a mage has set up a shop called Cone of Cold, which sells Cone of Cold. Let's Go Fly a Kite
For this quest, your orphan wants to fly kites with you! Buy Dragon Kite 2-Pack from Craggle Wobbletop, a Gnome who wanders around the Trade District (map) of Stormwind, and then go fly the kite with your orphan to receive credit.

A Warden of the Alliance
Buy Foam Sword Rack from Craggle Wobbletop, a Gnome who wanders around the Trade District of Stormwind. Then, return the Human Orphan to the Matron in Stormwind and you will be given your choice of one of following:

Hch'uu and the Mushroom People
For this quest, bring your orphan to Sporeggar (map) in Zangarmarsh and speak with Hch'uu. The nearest flight path is Zabra'jin.

Visit the Throne of the Elements
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Throne of the Elements (map), in Nagrand, and speak with Elementalist Sharvak. The nearest flight path is Garadar.

A Trip to the Dark Portal
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Stair of Destiny (map) before the Dark Portal, in Hellfire Peninsula. Speak to your orphan once the quest objective has completed to turn in this quest. There is a Dark Portal flight path, which you can easily reach by taking the Orgrimmar portal to Shattrath.

Now, When I Grow Up...
For this quest, take your orphan to see The Tauren Chieftains, located up on a balcony at the Walk of Elders, in Silvermoon City (Burning Crusade). The easiest way to get to Silvermoon City (Burning Crusade) is to take the Isle of Quel'Danas portal in Shattrath and then fly south.

Time to Visit the Caverns
For this quest, take your orphan out to the Caverns of Time and bring her up to the platform where Zaladormu lies. On your way out, purchase a Toy Dragon from Alurmi, the Keepers of Time Quartermaster, to complete this quest.

There are several ways to get to the Caverns of Time. You can either port to Gadgetzan with Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan, take the Uldum portal in Orgrimmar, or get ported by Zephyr (if you're Revered with the Keepers of Time).

Back to the Orphanage
Return the Blood Elf Orphan the Matron in Shattrath City and you will be given your choice of one of the following:

Auchindoun and the Ring of Observance
For this quest, bring your orphan out to the meeting stone at the Ring of Observance (map) at the center of Terokkar Forest and aid her in summoning an Alliance Adventurer. The nearest flightpath is Allerian Stronghold.

Jheel is at Aeris Landing!
For this quest, bring your orphan out to Aeris Landing (map) in Nagrand, and speak with her brother, Jheel. The nearest flightpath is Tel'aar.

A Trip to the Dark Portal
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Stair of Destiny (map) before the Dark Portal, in Hellfire Peninsula. Speak to your orphan once the quest objective has completed to turn in this quest.

There is a Dark Portal flight path, which you can easily reach by taking the Stormwind portal to Shattrath.

The Seat of the Naaru
For this quest, you must take your orphan to see O'ros at the Seat of the Naaru (map) in The Exodar. He will then give you another quest,Call on the Farseer, which asks that you go out to visit Farseer Nobundo in The Exodar's Crystal Hall (map).

The Exodar is easy to reach from Stormwind's Portal Room.

Time to Visit the Caverns
For this quest, take your orphan out to the Caverns of Time and bring her up to the platform where Zaladormu lies. On your way out, purchase a Toy Dragon from Alurmi, the Keepers of Time Quartermaster, to complete this quest.

For this quest, bring your orphan to the great tree Grizzlemaw (map), located in Grizzly Hills. The nearest flightpath is Amberpine Lodge.

The Bronze Dragonshrine
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Bronze Dragonshrine (map), located in Dragonblight. Either take the flightpath to Wrymrest Temple and head east, or take the boat to Moa'ki Harbor and head northeast.

Playmates!
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Winterfin Retreat (map), located in Borean Tundra.

Meeting a Great One
For this quest, bring your orphan to visit The Etymidian at the Shaper's Terrace (map) in Un'Goro Crater, which can usually be reached via the Waygate located in Sholazar Basin. However, you can also just take the Uldum portal in Stormwind/Orgrimmar and then fly to northern Un'goro.

The Dragon Queen
For this quest, bring your orphan to visit Alexstrasza the Life-Binder, found at the top of Wyrmrest Temple (map) in Dragonblight. If you don't have flying, speak to Tariolstrasz at the western side of the temple for a ride up.

A Trip To The Wonderworks
For this quest, you must purchase a Small Paper Zeppelin from Jepetto Joybuzz in the Wonderworks in Dalaran, then throw it to your orphan. Please note that this is a special, event-only item and should not be confused with the Paper Zeppelin Kit sold year-round.

Back To The Orphanage
Finally, simply return your orphan to Orphan Matron Aria in Dalaran.

The Squid Shrine: Take Liam to see Shrine of the Storms from the beach near Mariner's Strand in Stormsong Valley, approximately 63.70 64.27.

Bird Friends: Take Liam to see the statue of Arom Waycrest at Arom's Stand in Drustvar. Arom's Stand is a central town located at 36.76 48.89.

The Sethrak Queen: Take Azala to the Terrace of the Devoted in Vol'dun. Terrace is located at the far left of the zone, around 29.20 51.24.

Head to the Weaver's Lair in Azj-Kahet. Approach the Widow at /way 55.4, 44.0. Make sure you are not mounted and that Destien is summoned. It may take a few tries, walking in from different directions to get the quest to trigger. You are looking for the line, "Destien gasps as Widow Arak'nai comes into view," to appear in your chat window. Once it does, you can introduce Destien to the Widow.

Speak to Widow Arak'nai
Interact with Widow Arak'nai to make your introduction and begin the conversation between the Widow and Destien.

Take Destien to Meet the Silksingers

Once Destien and the Weaver have wound up their conversation, she will direct Spindle to take you to the Silksingers. Follow Spindle to Silksinger Tvkass at /way 56.8, 45.5.

Speak to Silksinger Tvkass
Once the role play triggers, you can interact with Silksinger Tvkass to play a minigame and show off your weaving prowess.

Take Destien to Meet An Ascended
There is no need to move for the next activity. Orator Tx'itk will come to you and have a conversation with Destien. Once the conversation concludes, you can return to the Widow.

Take Destien and Return to Widow Arak'nai

The Widow's personal assistant, Linny Leadfinger, suggests that Destien may be able to help with translations in the future, rounding up a very good day out.

Kitzy: Hmmm, no. This isn't quite right. Maybe we can ask one of the earthen? I guess they eat rocks or something. Maybe they'd know.

Speak to Belga

Take Kitzy to Belga, the flavored gems vendor at /way 50.6 68.6.

Take Kitzy to the Smithing Hammer

Next stop, the giant hammer at /way 50.2 62.8. Trigger the role-play with the nearby Forge Hand, and then place the Storm Glass gem on the hammer bed. Carefully. From the edge. If you time it wrong, you may get an unwelcome achievement.

Collect the Storm Glass Dust
Once the gem is smashed, collect the gem dust. Carefully.

Find the Leatherworker in Dornogal

For the last step in Kitzy's quest, we need some leather. Head over to the Leatherworking bench and talk to Krinn, the Leatherworking Supplier at /way 54.6 59.0. Trigger the role-play, and then interact with Krinn who will have a Quest option.

I just need this and Midsummer to complete What a long, strange trip it's been. I just dread PVP since I don't really care for it and hardly ever do it. To think of it, I have only ever queued for BG's due to achievements.

the stuff remains true but i believe this guide is old as this year it's april 29th- may 5th. note: i mean 2012 childrens week just in case someone reads this later.

im certainty dreading SOHK(school of hard knocks) for what it takes to get some of those pvp stuff.

The guide accidentally put Legs as a Stormwind pet and snail shell as a Shattrath pet. You get the snail shell pet for completing the Stormwind final children's week quest and Legs for the Shattrath quest.

I'm assuming this will get changed once the mods notice it, just a heads up for now ;)

Great guide, and still relevant in 2014. As a side note, all Children's Week pets except for Curious Oracle Hatchling and Curious Wolvar Pup can be caged, traded, and sold.

If you're only interested in collecting the pets and not in doing the achievements, the other pets can generally be found on the Auction House all year 'round.

Attempting to create the most time efficient route for my level 90 to complete the Shattrath Orphan's requirements, I came up with the following. In parentheses, I included options to "kill two birds with one stone" for other pet/mount/reputation achievements while in the locations required by the orphan. I am Alliance-only and not a Mage. However, I believe the general approach will work if substituting Orgrimmar for Stormwind and the Salandria for the Exodar.

If you have any improvements, please feel free to add. Please don't downvote unless you have a better way to do things and post it.

TWO REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO STARTING:
A. Hearthstone set to Shrine of Seven Stars
B. Cape of Coordination (transports to SW/ORG)

OPTIONAL:
C. City Faction tabard(s) for dungeon reputation gain
D. Ring of the the Kirin Tor - quite expensive but incredibly useful here
E. Scroll of Recall (set to Shrine of Seven Stars) - requires Scribe/Inscription training

1. Begin in Shrine of Seven Stars. Take portal to Shattrath. Pick up quest and orphan (Optional: Check the Rokk and Old Man Barlowe for dailies if working on Salty, Chef, or Chef Ironpaw achievements. Crocolisks in the City gives you opportunity to nab one of four rare aquatic crocolisk pets, and the Rokk drops rare Outland recipes in his boxes of meat or fish which are not obtainable any other way).

2. Fly south to Auchindon. Do first quest, and turn in (Optional: Equip one of the six faction city tabards and do 1-4 quick dungeon runs for rep gains with major cities. Each dungeon grants roughly 2-2.5k reputation and requires 10-15 minutes, equaling 8-10k rep in less than an hour. Sethekk Halls (dungeon on right/eastern side) also has a chance for rare mount drop, Reins of the Raven Lord. Running a dungeon also gives your hearthstone a chance to cooldown if you used it to portal to Shrine of Seven Stars prior to Step 1).

3. Fly west to Nagrand. Do second quest and turn in (Optional: Buy cooking recipes from vendors while here for Ironpaw Chef).

4. Use Cape of Coordination (not Hearthstone!) to return to Stormwind or Orgrimmar. Run down short ramp in Mage Tower (Stormwind). Take Portal to Blasted Lands. (Optional: If you obtained Crocolisks in the City from Old Man Barlowe, fish up the crocolisk now).

5. Fly through Dark Portal to Stair of Destiny. Complete quest and turn in.

6. Use your hearthstone to return to Shrine of Seven Stars. Take portal to the Exodar. Complete the two quests here.

7. This is the longest leg of the journey. Speed of completion will vary greatly according to profession and possession of a Ring of the Kirin Tor.

Option A. Ring of the Kirin Tor - Teleport to Dalaran and enter the Kirin Tor's building. At the top of the stairs, take the Portal to the Caverns of Time.

Option B. Scroll of Recall - Teleport to Shrine of Seven Stars and take portal to Dalaran. Enter the Kirin Tor's building. At the top of the stairs, take the Portal to the Caverns of Time.

Option C. Neither of the above - Take the Flight Master from the Exodar to Tanaris (I forget the name of the flight point south of Gadgetzan, but that is the point you want). Rest and let your hearthstone recharge while your character is transported. Go eat a snack or take a break.

Option D. Go AFK or quest around Exodar during hearthstone cooldown. In Exodar, go AFK or quest outside until your hearthstone recharges (Optional: go to Dranei starting area. Complete low level quests for quick Exodar reputation and a rare low level Stag cooking recipe). Hearthstone to the Shrine of Seven Stars once stone is ready. Take portal to Stormwind and fly northeast to Olivia's Pond, which has a portal to Uldum. From Uldum, fly northeast to the Caverns of Time.

8. Travel from flight point to the Caverns of Time in Tanaris (eastern side). The dragon at the cave mouth will fly you into the Cavern (Optional: fly in yourself. There are dragon whelps along the way which you can battle/collect only here).

9. Do quests in Caverns of Time and turn in.

10. Hearthstone to Shrine of Seven Stars. Utilize portal to Shattrath.

11. In Shattrath, turn in final quest and collect Children's Week pet (Optional: Turn in any additional Rokk and Old Man Barlowe dailies completed).

The only thing I want to correct is the closest flight path for Grizzlemaw in Grizzly Hills.

The article states the nearest flight path is Amberpine Lodge. But not only can Horde not fly there, it's not even the closest for Alliance.

Horde should fly to Camp Oneqwah, and Alliance should fly to Westfall Bridage Encampment.

THOSE are the two closest flight paths to the Grizzlemaw compound.

A pet biscuit is not enough incentive to do the holiday over again. I wish they would hire a holiday team to keep them updated every year. I used to love the holidays in wow the first two years I played, it doesn't seem like much to ask to add in new quests and updated loots to keep it fun.

Having done this over the years on numerous alts I now have all the pets and 3 x Wolvars and 3 x Oracles.

I did one whole quest chain today in Dala and got another Wolvar. Can't use it as I have 3 already. Was hoping for the alternative Pet Care Package. Seems like it's specific to the alt. If you didn't get the pet on that alt then you will get it even though you can't learn him if you have 3 x pet account wide of that pet already.

Is there a way of finding out which alt did what quest chain so I don't duplicate it again?

Is there a "/run" command or something that will tell me if I have earned the Wolvar Pup or Oracle Hatchling on a specific toon? Otherwise you endup with a pup or hatching that you cannot learn or vendor. This would then allow you to only do that quest line on alts that can award the Pet Care Package. The package being the only item of value if you already know 3/3 pups / oracles.

For the quests, I usually do the Shattrath and Orgrimmar orphans at roughly the same time. My method probably is longer than a fair amount of other people's and will *maybe* help half a person, but hey, I have literally nothing else to do at the moment except clean the dishes, do my laundry, and prepare supper, so of course I'm not doing that.

My hearthstone is still set to the Pandaria shrine, since it has all the portals.

Hearth to Pandaria shrine
Take portal to Shattrath before the music brings up repressed memories
Pick up quest for the blood elf orphan
Try to ignore her "hmph"ing
Go to Nagrand for my Shatt. Orphan
Go to Zangarmarsh for my Shatt. Orphan
Fly back to Shatt. and take portal to Org.
Take portal to Hellfire Peninsula (slightly above and to the right of the portal you will be in front of)
Summon Shatt. Orphan, turn in her quest, and grab her two new ones
Take portal back to Org.
Grab Org. Orphan quest
Fly north and do his Azshara quest
Prepare to die when he figures out the controls
Remember that you can't punt him off the tower for obvious reasons if you don't die
By the time that is finished, my hearthstone is usually off of cooldown, and if not, it only needs a minute or so

Hearth back to Pandaria shrine
Take the portal to Silvermoon and go let your Shatt. Orphan rock out in front of E.T.C.
Perhaps rock out a little yourself
Run to the back of Silvermoon and take the orb to Undercity
Go take your Org. Orphan to meet Lady Sylvanas and realize that "oh, right, kids don't know what 'tact' is"

There's another way to get to the Caverns of Time if your character is at least level 85 and hasn't done the quest The End Time yet. Accept the quest The End Time from Coridormi in the Stormwind Mage Tower (for Horde, the quest giver is Ziradormi in Grommash Hold.) Talk to Coridormi/Ziradormi again to get ported to the beginning of the End Time instance. Abandon the quest and exit the instance and you'll be in the Caverns of Time. If you don't turn in the quest, you'll be able to repeat this trick the next time you want to go there.

Updated for Legion:
There is a portal in the basement of the Chamber of the Guardian in the middle of (Legion) Dalaran.
There still is a portal in the Violet Citadel in Old (Wrath) Dalaran.

Because of the newest expansion, you have to make sure that if your using the stormwind Portal to HellFire Peninsula that you use the portal next to the mage trainer named Laluu. Otherwise you end up in the wrong "era".

A Trip to the Dark Portal
For this quest, bring your orphan to the Stair of Destiny (map) before the Dark Portal, in Hellfire Peninsula. Speak to your orphan once the quest objective has completed to turn in this quest.

There is a Dark Portal flight path, but you can also get to the Dark Portal easily by taking a portal to the other side of the portal from any capital city.

Some Notes: I saw a guide like this here but it was only with one of the orphans and not the rest. I wanted to do something for completing all three orphans' quests. I just went along this route myself using my own knowledge of WoW's travel systems. I did not pre-plan this so there may be more efficient routes out there. If you have some special items or things like Astral Recall/Portal: Darnassus/Wormhole Generator: Northrend/Argent Crusader's Tabard/Charred Glyph, you may be able to do this a lot more efficiently. Apologies in advance for any errors.

Guide: If you already have Curious Oracle Hatchling earned on that specific character, you will receive "Back To The Orphanage" instead, which lets you choose between "Curmudgeon's Payoff" and "Pet Care Package" as a reward.

If this was true, it's no longer accurate. Today, on the first day of Children's Week, Devitre did the Roo quest line and received the pet in the mail (3-5 minute lag). Then a second character, Ferrers, did the Kekek quest line and received the pet in the mail. Finally, a third character, Grimgert, did the Roo quest line and recieved the "Back To The Orphanage" instead of another pet.

As of 2018, I attempted to do a Legion world quest to satisfy the conditions for "Daily Chores" and it didn't count. So make sure you go back and do some original flavor daily quests (I'd recommend Golden Lotus in Pandaria, as they offer 5 a day)!

Already have both pets from Dalaran Children's week did NOT recieve quest "Back to the orphanage", So did not get any reward for doing this, DID recieve a letter from orphan thanking me... put in bug report - next day all my pet battle teams got wiped from rematch... working as intended no doubt ;p (edited to show which orphan quest this refers to)

This guide seems to have been updated in something of a hurry and contains a number of mistakes. Fist, most of the guide has been improperly updated to reflect the fact that you can now get 3 orphans per character. For instance this sentence : "There are three orphans that Horde players can adopt during Children's Week, each with different quests. You can adopt both orphans (at the same time, even) and complete both quest chains and obtain two cute pets per year! "

Perhaps more importantly, the information for the Horde quest giver is outright wrong. Thanks to rashas for pointing it out :
The NPC is indeed at about 54.00,84.62 but not inside Dazar'alor: The Great Seal zone but the whole Dazar'alor. You can find him near Grand Bazaar flight point in previously given coordinates.

I've been to the new one in Boralus and Nightingale in Stormwind and no one has a quest for me.

Calendar says event starts at 10am, It's currently 11am and I can't pick up anything.
Other people are having similar issues.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho! is at 79.81, 82.56 across the bridge from the flight path at the Irontide Recruiter.

Little warning the folks chasing the meta achievementThe Zandalari/Kul'tiran kids DO NOT count/work for the achievements you need to have the orc/human or belf/draenei kids out to get the achievments, make sure you do this especially for the pvp one.

7) Take portal to Crystalsong Forest / Dalaran.

8) Pick up third orphan and quest at Dalaran.

9) Fly to Grizzly Hills for Dalaran orphan's quest.

10) Fly to Dragonblight for Dalaran orphan's quest.

16) Fly to Borean Tundra (Oracles)/Dragonblight (Wolvar) for Dalaran orphan's quest.

11)- (Oracles) Fly to Sholazar Basin for Oracles orphan's quest and complete it, getting back through the Waygate to Sholazar Basin. Then, fly to Wyrmrest
Temple in Dragonblight for Oracles orphan's quest.
- (Wolvar) Fly to Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight for Wolvar orphan's quest. Then, fly to Sholazar Basin for his quest.

12) Fly to Dalaran to finish out the Dalaran orphans' questlines.

13) Take portal back to Stormwind.

14) Fly to Embassy and finish quest.

15) Use portal to Uldam and fly to Caverns of Time.

16) Fly down the tunnel at Caverns of Time to complete Shattrath orphan's quest there.

17) Hearthstone to Boralus then take portal back to Stormwind.

18) Take portal to Exodar.

19) Complete Shattrath orphan's quests in Exodar.

20) Take Exodar's portal to Stormwind.

21) Take portal to Shattrath to finish Shattrath orphan's questline.

22) Take Shattrath's portal to Stormwind.

23) Fly to Westfall to complete Stormwind orphan's quest there.

24) Fly to Ironforge to complete Stormwind orphan's quest there.

25) Fly / take tram back to Stormwind.

26) Finish off the Stormwind orphan's quests in Stormwind (Optional: Get some toys from the vendor you get the Dragon Kites and Foam Sword Rack from).

Horde gets you rep with Zandalari Empire, its not much however.

Alliance side you get rep with nobody.

Just take the Caverns of Time portal in Orgrimmar. It's below the main portal room, stairs are in the hallway.

After reading all of the fuss from previous years about the Northrend orphan quests, I worried that I would not be able to get the rare stones I'm after, on all my alts. First char I ran through the orphan quest chains, hadn't done them previously, and was able to acquire the Pet Care Package as a reward (not sure if relevant, I've already obtained both pets on my main from previous years).

TL;DR - Fixed, working as intended ^^

Just a quick note to let everyone know you can start a class trial, and (for Alliance characters at least) you can do the Human, Draenei and Kul Tiran orphans in one go. Since the pets bind to your account, rinse and repeat for any you don't have!

Alternatively, if you're after Flawless Battle-Stone this is also a cheesy way to get some.

The only issue is it needs to be updated now that the "level Squish" has happened for Shadowlands.
It is still listing level 110 requirements in the article.

Zandalari part, if you havent done the intro of the expansion to unlock dazar'alor, and just go there purely through portal, the whole city is empty aside from some phase out amani trolls.

You will need to do the story intro for the expansion to be able to see the orphanage guy.

When taking your Orphan to visit Krag'wa, Whistle him up in front of the green stone tablet, and then ignore all the chasing. Instead, visit Krag'wa's lilypad, and whistle the orphan up again. instant quest completion with no chasing about.

it seems like there's a delay on completing the Northrend orphan quests and having that completion register with the tender activity criteria, so be careful if you're leaving all of your children's day activities to the last day - there might not be time to get that error corrected.

I've taken the Skibbles quest at Dornogal, asking me to bring skibbles to /way 41.20, 54.57 in Hallowfall. I'm there, with Skibbles, and nothing happens.

Edit : finally found the exact position where Skibbles have to stand : 41.07, 54.44.
This is the edge of the bridge, when you are facing the giant Hallowfall crystal, precisely between the 2 Arathi flags furthest to the right of the bridge among the 3 which are on the edge of the bridge on the side of the crystal.

Edit 2 : now i'm stucked at the quest after where you have to bring Destien to The Weaver. I'm walking around her during 5 minutes, nothing is happening.
Edit 3 : for Destien, the quest finally activated when Destien walked at exactly 55.23, 44.12 close to The Weaver in Azj-Kahet.
Edit 4 : for next step with Destien, he activated the quest when he walked exactly at 56.82, 45.73 in Azj-Kahet.

Edit 5 : later, for Threadis, when you have to deal with the ingenerring school in undermine, it may be buggued as it was for me. The discussion looped 3 times until it finally worked.

I did the whole quest chain 4 times and best way to avoid the bugs is to dismiss the orphan after each step of the current quest(either click off the Summon Orphan buff or just use the whistle)and then re-summon the orphan when you reach the next step of the quest. The only time you must NOT dismiss is when you have to take the drill to Undermine on the questThe Eager Engineer.
When you re-summon the orphan for the next step of the quest, make sure to be a few meters away from the checkpoint. Also dismiss when you take portals or take flight.
Sometimes Krinn on the questRecreation for Rooks would bug out and not offer the next dialogue option, again dismiss, go away from Krinn and re-summon after every time you talk to him.
If you forget to do the dismiss re-summon thing and a step bugs out, fly away from the checkpoint, dismiss your orphan, relog and continue.

finished Skibbles and turned in that quest to Ullna in Mereldar. got handed Destian but no currency for doing Skibbles? or do you have to do all ther khaz algar orphans for 1 piece?

having to summon re-summon and move out of the areas just to do the first orphan is bad/buggy enough.

Time gobbler quests for Khaz Algar orphan runs. Was able to go to Undermine as a level 79 for the engineering orphan, but you are in hostile territory and fight you way to the different required stops. Died in undermine before got next quest for Kitzy "Recreation for Rooks" and Ulna wouldn't talk to me. Hearthed back to Dornogal and went to Stoneshaper's Atrium and Ulna was there at the steam pool court and gave the missing Kitzy quest.
No rewards during the separate steps.
Almost liked the stories but this was not one of the well done creations by blizzard staff. Won't bother with it again, unlike previous years quests that I did like and took multiple characters thru.

Not sure if this has already been commented on but it seems at level 70 you'll hit a wall for the Undermine section.

'The Eager Engineer' requires you to ride the Rocket Drill from Opportunity Point but the goblin NPC will phase out ( the one that triggers the journey to Undermine ). This could be due to a level / quest requirements.

I have tried travelling via Dornogal using the teleporter but unable to do so.

Seems like an oversite on Blizzard's end so make sure to complete this questline on a level 80!

Not sure if this is new for this year, but I can confirm that which version of the Wolvar/Oracle final quests you get is no longer character specific. If you have gotten that pet on one character, your alts will get the alternative endquest that rewards an item choice.

The list of children should have more detailed locations, like /way or a map image. Currently there's no way to find the orphanages, not even the children's wowhead pages tell you.
