The Chaotoids will periodically teleport to a random location, not necessarily near a player

Chaotoid will then cast Compress the Void, pulling all players to its current position

Compress the Void deals no damage, but can be a nuisance when combined with the Fulminant add's mechanics

Chaotoids will then buff themselves with Release the Void, dealing periodic damage to all players within 100 yards

The Release the Void buff cannot be removed by any player effects, and persists until the Chaotoid dies

While affected by Release the Void, the Chaotoids will no longer cast Compress the Void

Once Release the Void begins, players should quickly kill the channeling Chaotoid to stop the damage

ScatterFulminate

Approximately every 6 seconds, Fulminants will cast Scatter on their current tank, dealing moderate damage

Scatter will then deal a large amount of damage split evenly over all players within 20 yards of that tank, including the tank

Each player that is struck will also Charge the Fulminant, granting it 3 Energy

When the Fulminant reaches 100 Energy, it will cast Fulminate

Fulminate deals damage to all players within 100 yards

The amount of damage it deals is reduced by the player's distance from the Fulminant

Fulminants can move while casting Fulminate

Players should stack on the Fulminants to mitigate Scatter damage

When the Fulminant reaches max Energy, the tank should drag it away about 20 yards in preparation for Fulminate

As soon as Fulminate goes off, the tank should bring the Fulminant back into the stack so that the next Scatter won't be fatal

There should be at least 2 Scatters between each Fulminate on Normal difficulty

The tank should use a cooldown for their unmitigated Fulminate damage

Healers should use cooldowns to heal through the combined Scatter/Fulminate damage

As the Pulsauron patrols around, the Shield's facing may change, so players must be aware and adjust position to continue dealing damage

Approximately every 12 seconds, the Pulsauron will cast Beam in the direction it is facing

During the 5-second cast time, the Pulsauron emits a faint blue beam to indicate the direction of the Beam

At the end of the Beam cast, the Pulsauron deals heavy damage to all players in the Beam's path

Waning Time Particles are stationary and will spawn approximately 90 degrees away from the boss's position in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction

Look for the small white cloud that indicates the position at which the add will spawn, and move to it

The Waning Time Particle will attack its current threat target with Chronomate, dealing moderate Arcane damage

It will also cast Warp Nightwell frequently, dealing moderate damage to all players
During Speed: Normal, this spell is cast every 5-7 seconds

During Speed: Slow, this spell is cast every 10-11 seconds

During Speed: Fast, this spell is cast every 1.5 seconds

Fragmented Time Particles also attack their threat target with Chronomate and attempt to cast Warp Nightwell

While their version of Warp Nightwell deals less damage and only increases by 5% per stack, it is still dangerous since there are four

Use AoE stuns and other disrupting abilities to prevent the Fragmented Time Particles from casting

Kill them quickly so that they have fewer chances to successfully cast

Power Overwhelming and Temporal SmashPower Overwhelming

If the cast completes, Chronomatic Anomaly will channel Power Overwhelming, dealing increasing raid damage every 5 seconds

Each tick of Power Overwhelming will increase the next tick's damage by 15%

Power Overwhelming can be channeled indefinitely, and will eventually become fatal through the stacking Power Overwhelming buff

Power Overwhelming cannot be conventionally interrupted; tanks must interact with a Temporal Rift to be able to stop the channel

Temporal Rift

The Temporal Rift appears as a glowing orb next to the Waning Time Particle's corpse

A tank should right-click the Temporal Rift to consume it, gaining a Temporal Charge

If a player with Temporal Charge approaches Chronomatic Anomaly during Power Overwhelming, Temporal Smash will automatically occur

Temporal Smash launches the player into the air, crashing into Chronomatic Anomaly and interrupting Power Overwhelming

Note that Temporal Charge deals increasing DoT damage to the tank until it is removed by Temporal Smash; this is why tanks should perform this role

If there is a long time between the death of a Waning Time Particle and the next Power Overwhelming, use a cooldown when Temporal Charge damage becomes high

Time Release is removed when the healing absorption shield has been depleted

If the debuff expires naturally, instead of being healed away, it will deal damage to the targeted player equal to the amount of healing absorption remaining

Healers should focus on healing these players quickly to remove the shields
The icon for the ability changes based on how much healing absorption is left

The red icon for Time Release means the shield has a lot of absorption remaining

The yellow icon for Time Release means the shield has a moderate amount of absorption remaining

The green icon for Time Release means the shield is nearly depleted

Passage of Time

During Speed: Normal:
Time Release is cast every 20-30 seconds, for 2-3 applications during the phase

Four targets are chosen each time

The absorption shield is of moderate size

The debuff lasts for 20 seconds

Speed: Slow

Time Release is cast every 43 seconds, twice during the phase

Every player is targeted, except for one tank

The absorption shield is small in size

The debuff lasts for 25 seconds

Speed: Fast

Time Release is cast every 13 seconds, about 4 times during the phase

Two targets are chosen each time

The absorption shield is very large

The debuff lasts for 15 seconds

When Chronomatic Anomaly casts Power Overwhelming, the Temporal Charge tank should interrupt it with Temporal Smash by moving close to the boss

Use DPS CDs after Power Overwhelming is interrupted, while the boss takes 30% more damage

Use healing cooldowns during Power Overwhelming casts that cannot be immediately interrupted, or during Temporal Orb

Spot heal players with Time Release debuffs, prioritizing red > yellow > green

Players with Time Bomb should run out when their debuff is about to expire

Use healing cooldowns whenever Chronomatic Anomaly begins channeling Power Overwhelming before the Waning Time Particle dies

Use healing cooldowns during Temporal Orb in the Speed: Fast phase

Use a minor healing cooldown during the whole-raid Time Release that occurs during Speed: Slow phases

Prioritize healing players with red Time Release debuffs over those with yellow or green debuffs

Heavy tank healing will be needed during Speed: Slow when the tanks reach high stacks of Chronometric Particles

If targeted by Time Bomb, run away from the raid when the debuff begins pulsating/has fewer than 8 seconds remaining

Move away from Burst of Time and Temporal Orb zones

The raid will have to assign groups to handle the "left" vs "right" adds

Do not split the raid evenly - tanks must stick together to continue swapping for Chronometric Particles

Send stronger DPS and more healers to the side with the tanks, and fewer healers/heavy interrupts to the side without the tanks

Avoid pushing both Waning Time Particles below 30% health at the same time

The side with the tanks should kill the Waning Time Particle quickly, so that a tank can interrupt Power Overwhelming

This group should finish off the Fragmented Time Particles before moving over to assist the smaller group with their adds

Last night when going for this boss on normal we had a few tries when we ended up with the boss at around 10%, when he gains the ability Full Power that makes him run around the center of the room at high speed and being uninterruptible.

First we thought this was a mechanic like Power Overwhelming, but that is not the case, they have nothing to do with each other. The fact that we found almost no information on Full Power in neither the dungeon journal nor anywhere else is the reason for this post.

The conclusion we drew is that it's a soft enrage, since the solution we found was to just burn him down faster.

I think the guide is off on the actual live abilities of the trash. I've never noticed a Chaotid to Compress the Void. Fulminants do not move during Fulminate and I have not noticed the Scatter mechanic working at all. Pulsaurons do not patrol, nor can they be moved. They simply spin slowly in place with their shield, sometimes teleport the raid to a spot in front of them, then fire a wide damage beam at that spot a few seconds after. The Pulsaurons can teleport you uncomfortably close to the boss's patrol path, and scattering from it can result in a pull.

On 7.2 theres an extra add, which i strongly beilive summoned by fulminant, name is ebulirant. New add looks like an orb (electrical) more importantly casting a skill named burst. As usual theres a cast time which is unintruptable and explodes at end of the casting. Making aoe magical damage outburst to raid. Thats why that new orbs need to be focused and killed before they explodes. I also strongly want to remind you that you can use bloodlust /heroism when you are cleaning trashes just before boss and reset your exhausted debuff many time simply attacking boss and pulling it to stairs.

In BFA, this boss is soloable - I barely took any damage as a 352 Frost DK. I had problems the first few times, however - the Chronmetric Particles debuff would stack to 10 and it would insta-kill me. After a few times around, I found the trick - Do NOT interrupt Power Overwhelming! The cast won't hurt you very much and it will keep the boss busy long enough for the debuff to drop off. Just kill the adds, let him channel the cast and ignore the temporal Charge or use it right after your debuff wears off.
