Located at 54,10, he is *somehow* spawned by an event needing a 10man which spawns waves of non-elites and then elites (someone please fill us in).

He sells 4 flasks for the Plateaus and Gruul's Lair similar to those from the two Ogri'la quests. All are sold for 10 Apexi Shards.

- critical strike rating +20, Strength +20, Stamina +30 for 120 minutes.
- Intellect +20, Stamina +30, Healing +44 for 120 minutes.
- Intellect +20, Stamina +30 , 8 mana per 5 sec. for 120 minutes.
- Agility +20, Attack Power +40, Stamina +30 for 120 minutes.

This guy arrives once the flares go up, but before the towers spawn. You don't need many people at all. It might even be possible to solo the event long enough to get this vendor to arrive and make your purchase.

You only need to keep fighting if you wish to purchase the gems from the second vendor.

Just did this encounter with seven people. It could probably be done with five, but unless you are incredibly uber I wouldn't try to solo or duo it.

There are fleshbeasts that initially come one at a time, but eventually come faster. Eventually a 72 elite fleshbeast appears, and once you kill him, then the technician says something and this guy, the Aether-tech Assistant, appears. There is no break in fighting - you just have to buy from him while it's still going on.

The next phase of the battle is much much harder. There were two towers lobbing stuff at us, and dozens of 70 elite mobs. We wiped, but we got the flasks we wanted. I have no idea what sort of group you need to get past this, but I'd guess a bunch (25?).

Also of note is that this seemed bugged for us - the fighters showed up, but not the technician that fiddles with the crystalforge. We waited around for several minutes and eventually she appeared and did her thing and the encounter began. So be a little patient if it seems bugged - hopefully it will resolve for you as it did for us.

I'm not sure if this is true of all servers, but on Argent Dawn (eastern time), the event happens every even hour (12, 2, 4, etc). One Aether-tech appears at the Crystal Forge in Bash'ir Landing (same spot as the assistant appears). Waves of stuff start attacking him. Until the elite shows up, its soloable by an AoE class.

The elite has a ton of HP though, you'll need a group to make this guy appear.

3) Alot, not sure how many, but there are constant waves, and after awhile there will spawn a 70elite.
4) No idea, best thing is to have 4+ people then you should be able to get it without too much trouble.

- 1 flask cost 10 Apexis shards
- If you keep the npc's alive for a longer time, there will spawn another npc that sells nice socket-gems.
- Be aware of the respawn of bash'ir spellthieves in the camp during the event.

no you don't, it's neutral between horde and alliance, beacuse it's from the shatari skyguards

I just did it with a warlock, pally, ele sham, and mage (myself), not having a tank hurt us. All you really need is a tank, 1-2 dps, and a healer for the elite. You can probobly solo up to that point if you wanted to.

However, after that you will likely need a full raid to get anywhere.

It is in fact possible to solo the first wave as tank. I've done this on my prot paladin twice. If your avoidance is high enough you can just sit back and aoe tank while the NPCs whirlwind and cleave them down. None of the NPCs seem to generate any aggro (I could pull mobs off of them at 50% with a single auto-swing) so a single demoralizing shout/roar or consecrate should get all of em back on you if you've missed one and it's attacking anything else.

However once the elites start coming you had better run.

I have soloed the event long enough to buy from this vendor twice as an enhancement shaman. Both times, I had no trouble keeping up with the initial waves, but was overwhelmed once the elites showed up. I died, and ran back to my corpse. Soon after the elites killed the Aether-tech and the waves despawned, the Aether-Tech Assistant showed up. With the event being over as "failed" he walked right up to the crystalforge unmolested. I rezed, and was able to buy flasks from him.

Did the whole event with about 20 kara/gruul geared people and a good mix of classes. As long as you keep your head cool and don't get overwhelmed by all the adds it's not very hard.

The event starts in the Skyguard base close to Ogri'la, when Skyguard Lieutenan takes his men to help repair the Bash'ir Crystalforge. What happened to me is that I (enh. shaman) killed and killed a lot of mobs with the npc squad, but ended up getting rape by a lot of mobs and a 72 elite that spawned later on. When I ressed Aether-tech Assistant had spawned selling some imba Flasks, so I guess you can do it alone but it will probably cost you gold. :P

After a while, Bash'ir Raider will spawn and 3x Mana-debt Slave mobs will spawn with him, channeling a spell and destroying the shop. You can defend it by killing them, then you will be able to keep the shop up and purchase some more. I think the interval between their raids are around 10-15 minutes.

Once the shop is destroyed, and the tech assistant npc vendor flees the area, you can again defent it and re-open the shop next time the Lieutenant and his people show up at the Skyguard base close to Ogri'la.

We just had a raid on this event before we go to Gruul's Lair.
15-manned till last phase and we were able to get all the nice flasks and gems...
I even bought some controlling device, don't know what is it used for though.
The last vendor sells some kind of tokens that can be exchanged for armor pices, just like Tier set items are. The level of those set items is a bit too low to have a raid on that event just for these tokens. Even moderate Kara/heroic set is much better.

I was able to solo the first stage (ie, the only stage I really cared about ^.^) as a hunter in Kara/ZA gear. I died once, ran back, killed some more. I saw the elite spawn and just dropped combat and mounted up. Everything despawned once the NPCs were dead, and the vendor still landed, so I was able to get my hands on some flasks like I wanted.
