A boss in heroic shattered halls after the archer gauntlet (takes the place of the middle mob in the archers at the end)

This guy has an absolutely devastating cleave with a huge range. It's best for the Tank to rush in and tank him against the far wall. He needs to be kept away from everyone else because he fears and then will go after other people. Not sure how long his fear lasts, but it's rather short.
The two archer adds are very easy to take down and should be killed rather than crowd controlled.

In 2.4, he's basically just a named Trash Mob that hits a bit harder, though not sure how long he's been like this. See it as a bit of a reward for doing one of the hardest Heroics in the game, save for MgT.

He does come with 2 adds, which we usually kill first before the boss. He himself does have a nasty cleave, so make sure he's facing away from the group.

It should be noted that the people I usually run the instance with are quite overgeared, just starting in T5 content, so that certainley does make it a bit easier. However, I doubt he poses a challenge to anybody.

Most level 70ish TBC mobs have rare gems in their pickpocket table.

Zealots will take stations along the gauntlet of flame leading up to Blood Guard Porung. Groups of two zealots will also run down the gauntlet towards you at intervals of I believe approximately 20 seconds (although I will admit I have not timed this), this is to prevent people drinking and eating between groups very easily, and so the best way to reach the end mob to stop these spawning is to maintain momentum when killing them and if your healer is running low on mana stop for a few seconds before the final mob and maybe have a rogue distract the incoming mobs to provide a few extra seconds of mana regeneration (I have not tested this as i run as a Tankadin and so am able to get to the final mob in one or two minutes and thus not needed to regenerate mana, any clarification on this strategy working would be appreciated and I will edit accordingly)

A event like this seems to have been used in a similar manor to this boss in Wrath. As two relatively Simple Boss's (depends on Horde / Alliance) take places of a Normal mob in Heroic The Nexus.

Was this the orc that fought Vindicator Maraad in Shattrath, when the latter was escorting refugees?

The orc in Maraad's WoD short film seems like he died, but maybe he was only injured...
