Kael'thas Sunstrider <Lord of the Blood Elves>

The Eye Void Reaver Al'ar High Astromancer Solarian Kael'thas Sunstrider Kael'thas' Advisors Thaladred the Darkener Lord Sanguinar Grand Astromancer Capernian Master Engineer Telonicus Kael'thas Sunstrider, Lord of the Blood Elves, is the fourth and final boss encounter of the Eye. He is accompanied by his council of four advisors: Thaladred the Darkener, Master Engineer Telonicus, Grand Astromancer Capernian and Lord Sanguinar. He spawns seven powerful legendary items which you have to fight, defeat and then equip in order to defeat Kael'thas. These items are usable only during the encounter; reseting the encounter, wiping, or releasing to the graveyard will cause them to desummon. Abilities For the first three phases of the encounter, you do not actually fight Kael'thas but rather his advisors and the summoned legendary items. During phase one, Kael'thas will send each of his advisors against the raid individually. Once they have been defeated, he will then summon seven legendary weapons and a shield which must also be defeated as soon as possible, as in the third phase he will resurrect his fallen advisors and the raid must fight all four at the same time. After they have been defeated, the raid will fight Kael'thas himself. Phase 4 (Spell #36805): A 25000 Fire damage attack to the main tank. The 2.5 second cast is interruptible. (Spell #36815): Kael'thas will activate a shield around himself every minute for 10 seconds or until used that absorbs 80000 Physical and magical damage as well as grants him immunity to interrupt effects. (Spell #36819): A Pyroblast dealing 45000-55000 Fire damage every 60 seconds. The 4 second cast is not interruptible as it is used in conjunction with Shock Barrier. The legendary shield must be used for the first pyroblast while the raid burns through the rest of the shield in time to interrupt any further castings. (Spell #36797): Kael'thas mind controls 2 random targets every 30 seconds to take them out of the fight. It must be dispelled by using the looted legendary dagger as soon as possible. (Spell #36834): An Arcane based attack doing 1750-2250 damage to the entire raid and disorients for 10 seconds. The aura from the looted legendary staff makes the players in range immune to the disorient effect. It must be in range for the tanks as if they are disoriented, it is an aggro wipe. Phoenix Rebirth: Every minute Kael'thas will do a flamestrike on a random target that does 2000 Fire damage to all players in the area. It also spawns a Phoenix with 10000 health and targets the player with the highest aggro. He uses Hellfire which ticks for 4000-5000 Fire damage as well as causing itself to lose 5% health every 1 second. Phoenix Egg: An egg spawns on top of where a phoenix was killed. The egg has 69,000 health and hatches after 15 seconds. It must be killed as fast as possible. Phase 5 Along with these new abilities, Kael'thas also uses Fireball, Shock Barrier, and Arcane Disruption from phase 4. (Spell #35966): Kael'thas summons everyone in the raid to his body within a 60 second window and gives the players the ability to essentially fly mountless in his room. (Spell #35873): A beam of magic doing 1850-2150 Arcane damage to a target that jumps to nearby players. Occurs while Gravity Lapse is in effect. (Spell #35859): Kael'thas debuffs any players within 8 yards of himself that deals 875-1125 Shadow damage and reduces the total health of the player by 10% for 60 seconds. Stackable up to 9 times.
