Old Hillsbrad Foothills Lieutenant Drake Captain Skarloc Epoch Hunter Lieutenant Drake is the first boss of the Escape from Durnholde encounter inside of Caverns of Time: Old Hillsbrad Foothills. He appears after you've put bombs in all of the barrels inside the internment lodges inside Durnholde Keep. Entrance Lieutenant Drake Abilities Whirlwind: Spinning attack that will do damage to anyone within melee range. : AoE Fear Mortal Strike: Damaging melee attack that reduces healing temporarily. (Heroic Mode only) Strategy Fairly straightforward tank and spank. Although Lieutenant Drake has quite some health, he has no real dangerous abilities. That said keep clothies away from his Whirlwind attack. When he fears, he will ignore the feared players for the duration of the fear. Be ready with , Fear Ward, Death Wish, etc. if the fear becomes a problem. Heroic Mode All damage output is increased, and Drake can now cast Exploding Shot. Everyone near to Drake must run out when he does his Whirlwind. His Intimidating Shout will wipe aggro on the tank and he will go after one of the other members of your group. Also, if your warrior waits to use his shield block for when Drake yells "Time to Bleed", you can avoid the chance at your tank dying in 1 second from the Mortal Strike, and melee right away after.
