Majordomo Executus
Molten Core Lucifron Magmadar Gehennas Garr Shazzrah Baron Geddon Golemagg the Incinerator Sulfuron Harbinger Majordomo Executus Ragnaros Majordomo Executus, second in command to Ragnaros, is a powerful flamewaker. He is joined by four Flamewaker Healers and four Flamewaker Elites. When these guards have been defeated, Executus will submit and retreat to the lair of his master. The Cache of the Firelord will then spawn, containing the encounter's loot. Summoning Majordomo Executus is spawned after the dousing of the runes guarded by previous bosses in the Molten Core. The runes are doused using an (Item #17333) or the (Item #22754). The Aqual Quintessence is obtained by gaining honored status with the Hydraxian Waterlords, and completing the quest chain ending with Hands of the Enemy. The Eternal Quintessence is available at revered status. Abilities Majordomo Executus (Spell #20620): Self-buff cast on a regular basis. Heals Executus to full, provides him with a shield absorbing 30,000 damage, and returns 250 damage to any melee attack while the shield holds. Effectively makes him invulnerable. (Spell #20619): Buff cast on his guards. Visible as a white shield. Causes spells to be reflected back at their casters, making magic damage ineffective. (Spell #21075): Buff cast on his guards. Visible as a purple shield. Causes melee attacks to take 100 damage on each attack, thus hampering melee damage. (Spell #20618): Teleports a random raid member to the fire pit near the encounter. Players take 1,000 - 2,000 fire damage while in the pit, and thus must be quick to run out. (Spell #20229): Area of effect fire attack that deals approximately 750 damage and reduces movement speed by 50%. Flamewaker Healer (Spell #21077): Powerful shadow spell that hits a random player for about 1500 damage. (Spell #29564): Strong healing spell that can be cast on any of the flamewakers. Should be interrupted. Flamewaker Elite (Spell #20623): Potent direct fire damage on the current target. (Spell #20229): Area of effect fire attack that deals approximately 750 damage and reduces movement speed by 50%. Melee: Elites have a relatively strong melee attack and thus must be tanked. Tips The goal of this fight is to defeat the guards, as Majordomo will submit when they have been defeated. The healers are vulnerable to (Spell #12826), and thus should have mages assigned to keep them controlled until they are ready to be killed. The elites cannot be crowd controlled and thus should be tanked. A warrior (or another tank class) should be assigned to each elite. Majordomo himself does not do very much damage and thus can be taken care of by a single tank and healer. Note that he is tauntable. He will however teleport his tank, lowering aggro on the tank. It may be necessary to assign a hunter to use (Spell #27020) on Majordomo to make sure he returns to the tank. The healers are generally the highest threat in this encounter and thus should be killed first. They can be stunned to help prevent their spell casting. Mages assigned to keeping the healers polymorphed must be wary of the magic shield as it is possible to polymorph oneself while the shield is up.
