Go to Borean Tundra and kill any animal that gives you the "covered in blood" debuff. Then go to the coast and jump into the water to create a pool of blood. FISH AWAY. easy daily.

what i did was kill a mammoth or mammoth calf, and then get the covered in blood thing, then jump into the lake at around 50, 46. ther are alot of mammoths around ther and its realy easy not to get attacked by loot crazed divers. at one time i lured up 3 bloodtooth frenzys at once. this whole quest took me about 5 mins or less to do. an easy daily.

I will go with the tactics that Yountboy94 has come out with. Spend 10 minuts fishing there and got what i came for.
It is an easy daily that i worth doing.

It's worth noting that you can do fish these up no matter where you are, just as long as you're fishing in the pool of blood. If you're worried about gankers, just kite a rhino to your faction's port and head to Stormwind / Durotar and fish them up there. Or port to Dalaran and get these guys out of the sewer.

If I'm not mistaken, as long as you have a pool of blood, you can fish as many of these up as you would like, as to stock up for the next time it is the daily.

correct me if I am wrong though

1. Go to Borean Tundra.
2. Kill some mammoth / mammoths till you get a debuff called "Animal blood" i think...
3. When you have that there will appear a pool of blood when you enter water next time.
4. Now fish in it.

Got my 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy's up in 2 casts.

Currently, this is a quest item that can be obtained past the quest limit. Out there and want to stack up 25, 5 for the daily and a full stack of 20 for the next four times it comes up to save time? Knock yourself out, you can do it!

Just a small heads up or info. I forgot some how to take the quest, i thought i had it though. Turns out you get covered in blood as per usual, and you get the pool of blood when you go bathing in the sea. But you won't catch any , i did however catch a lots of . Also i had 2 to start with. I catched 2 in my first attempt (this after i actually accepted the quest) making it 4/5, next catch was 3 which would make it 7/5 but no. I just got 5/5. IE you cannot farm these and save them.

I was able to catch with 195 fishing took took 18 casts had a 27% catch rate

Trying to do this quest on my 80 shaman, started with a skill of 75, after a hundred or so casts I've only received 3 of these quest items. I wouldn't suggest doing this until your fishing skill is 300+ unless you have a lot of time to spend on the quest or are extremely lucky.

I will try to clarify this since others have sort of mentioned it but not clearly.

You can end up with 6 or 7 of these. The only way for this to happen is if you have 4/5 and then your last cast gets 2-3 of the fish. You cannot fish up any more once you have gotten 5/5 for the quest.

When you hand in the quest, the remaining 1-2 fish will remain in your bag and you can save them for the next time this daily comes up, meaning you may need just one cast the next time you do the quest if you get 3 of them at once.

However, if the quest comes up again and you accept it, do not abandon it. If you abandon the quest after you get it a 2nd time, any existing quest fish in your bags will be deleted upon abandoning.

Somehow I managed to fish up 3 of these while powerlevelling my fishing in the Dalaran fountain. I had the daily quest in my logs, but I didn't have the blood debuff, and I was nowhere near Borean Tundra...

I think someone else probably created a pool of blood in the fountain and you fished at it by chance.

Just a tip.
If you bring back a pool to Dalaran, be sure to get your own fish before telling others about the pool.

1. You have to kill some animal in Borean Tundra to get debuff.
2. With this debuff you must unmount high above water to create Blood Pool, where you can fish up Bloodtooth Frenzy

I'm 200 fishing, also 2 cast & had it complete.
Just did kill 1 mammoth, got the debuff, jumped into the water and there was blood in the water.
As said, 2 casts and done. Thanks guys.

I've fished 2 extra fish. And since then I haven't had the quest again. Perhaps it's just bad luck, but im doing dailies now for like 3 weeks. Did anyone else notice this?

It appears you can't stockpile fish anymore. Once you get your 5 fish you won't find anymore in the blood pool and killing another beast won't get you covered in blood.

Dunno if it's been nerfed but picked up the quest ...went straight there to fish ...get the blood pool in the water but no Bloodtooth ...just bones ...weird ... tried 3 pools

I CAN'T Create the Blood Pool! I'm covered on blood and go to the lake, but when i'm clean the pool isn't create.

I dont know if i was extremely lucky or if it was fixed a little, but I was skill 7 with my warrior and tried it. Put shiny bauble on, and bam, 2 casts, done.

you must kill mammoth to get debuff ''Animal Blood'' so then u get in water that create ''Pool of Blood'' and then u fish in pool of blood 1 cast/ 3 fish so u get in 2nd cast and u get bonus fish for next daily i have 249 fishing without things for fish up.I would help you! =)

I have found that if you mount a flying mount, then dismount and drop into the water you can both get a pool further from the shore, and the pool seems to last longer. Not sure why, anyone else seen this too?
