Used as part of the quest Putting the Crunch in the Frog.
And if you are an alchemist don't forget Moonberry Juice for your alchemy quest: A Fizzy Fusion.
And if you are tailor, the quest Banners, Banners Everywhere! require: Coarse Thread, Red Dye and Blue Dye

You must have it in your inventory (with you) to use at The Darkmoon Faire for the cooking quest: Putting the Crunch in the Frog.

i.e. It cannot be in your Reagent Bank to use unfortunately... yet.

Why map pin show here wrong about Stormwind, it is close to cooking trainer in Old Town, very simple Pig and Whistle Tavern, Cooking Supplies vendor - Erika Tate <coords 75.8 36.8> Erika Tate, just for cooper, you need 5 pcs for quest.

If you're Alliance, during the Darkmoon Fair, there's an NPC right outside the portal in Godlshire named Tharynn Bouden. He is standing next to a carriage.

Unfortunately, having this in your Warbank does not work for the Darkmoon Fair cooking quest as of 8/4/2024

Before take the Darkmoon Faires Portal, fly to Thunder Buff as Horde and go 40.32, 63.33 and Sahdi Misrtunner take your back selling Simple Flour, Shiny Bauble, Coarse Thread, Blue Dye, Red Dye.
