Horde Expedition The Hand of Vengeance The Taunka Warsong Offensive The Sunreavers The Taunka, whom are ancestral cousins of the tauren, have a struggling relationship with nature, unlike that of their tauren brethren, and has been one of grim perseverance. They are a stoic race, forcing the elements of this world to yield to their will. Although the taunka may seem stern or even cold to outsiders, those who come to know them will soon recognize an embattled race of survivors characterized by colossal hearts and unshakable resolve. They have allied with the Horde Expedition after being rediscovered by Garrosh Hellscream and his orc forces upon arriving in Northrend.
