I never really understood how or why people approached the game as if it's a job. Do people enjoy farming? Or they just postpone 'having fun' for after the farm is done (but I guess that never happens)?
How many Order Halls are you running? How much gold do you generate per week from each character? Have you considered starting to work on yours before the launch of Battle for Azeroth?I am currently running 1 of each character class Order Hall except Hunter and Monk (leveling the monk and deciding what race hunter to use but I might wait for a Zandalari Troll or Mag'har Orc). I make about a million a week from just these and it is self sustaining using the Legion App and some Emissary missions. A few of my Classes don't have full 3 item epic champions either so it is still a powerful way to gain gold.
I think one important consideration is: Will BFA have a similar material to spirit of harmony and blood of sargeras? and while it might do, it might not come from gathering this time. Dont presume before you know for sure.
Blizzard: We want you to play the game, your way!Me: Well, I'm kinda burnt out on Legion, so I think I'll just Sim City my Order Halls until the next expansion comes out...Blizzard: We're nerfing BoS Order Hall Missions! Play your way!Me: But...Blizzard: PLAY! YOUR! WAY!In all seriousness, I've been struggling to keep interested in this expansion for a while. I've been working on getting some alts up and running with full Order Halls lately, but I don't have the time to keep all of them stocked with resources for the gold missions.Meh.
With the nerf to bloods, and looking more toward the inevitable gold nerf to missions, I am not grinding resources as frequently as before. I am running my alts through BWD, (1000g in less than ten minutes), and leveling extra rogues. (5000g weekly on each one). This really only works for Altoholics, but nets a lot of gold for little time and effort.
A while back a few people posted that they were 100% sure there would be NO MISSIONS/FOLLOWERS in BfA. Looks like they need to polish those crystal balls (; http://www.wowhead.com/news=282279/early-look-at-new-followers-in-battle-for-azerothGranted, this does not mean that we will be certain to be able to make decent amounts of gold from missions. But it is nice to see that the possibility exists. As a goblin I will be keeping a close eye on this development so that if indeed gold missions become a thing in BfA I will be ready to take advantage of that ASAP in the new xpac.I have actually stopped spending time making gold at the momemnt. I have BfA pre-order. I'm subbed over a year in advance and have bought all the other stuff I was interested in that blizz balance can buy. But I am sure that by the time BfA goes live, I will be ready to get back into making gold (: as I am certain (becides just subscription) there will be plenty to spend Gold on. After all, if nothing else, I expect to upgrade heirlooms to the new max level eventually.
I started on my alt army... pitiful as it may be. I got 5 alts that see active play, and a further 7 at 110 now, all of that split evenly across 2 servers. Unexpected obstacle: while completing Broken Shore campaigns, at least to the extent required, is not that bad really... but the freakish Argus campaign is. After five, I still can't motivate myself to get on the rest of the army to do that.I also find it really unnerving that actually getting your followers to 3-slots is sooooooo time consuming, and that the issue of Druids/Monks (those that I know of) not having any reasonable source of equipment has not been addressed. You can buy 880 BoA armor with nethershards, but that's not enough. The coffers of follower equipment for the same currency are BoP, so you have to actually farm nethershards on the target toon... which after Sentinax nerf means running every invasion you see (guaranteed sizeable rewards, usually around one coffer per invasion point). And the 6000 experience item? WAY too expensive, and BoP again! Not to mention, they now take even the leveling missions off your table once you start up-armoring your followers. The only way is to rotate your followers in and forfeit extras from WQs, but that's good only for the last-moment pushes. If you do enough WQs to level a follower, then the potential rewards from using a dedicated assist-items (like gold or OR for completing WQs) are worth much, much more.I got a little trick to share, too.If you uparmor your follower to 880 using the nethershard armor, and then up him to 895, try getting a +15 (at worst +10) item and using it last, when they're 895 already. If you do that, they will cross the theoretical 900 boundary and you can get a little extra performance from them being 905 or 910 until you start getting quests for 925 armor tokens.

Appologies, I slightly mis-phrased my numbers. I did not account for the non-gold mission sources of gold that each character makes in the effort to sustain Order Resources and Bloods.
PS: I almost never buy anything off the Auction house as I have every profession covered with my Alts and the mats from leveling them up.
Where are people getting 1-3 gold missions per day? I've checked every day for the past week or 2 and none of my 5 110s ever have any up, maybe 1 char has 1 gold mission per day. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, only my main has fully completed the Argus campaign, with 2 of my alts halfway through and the other 2 havent started yet, but all of them are 890+ for followers, I'd think at least the 600 base gold missions should be showing up?
