Love TSM and looking forward to TSM4. Has anyone checked outTSM4 beta and have they ran into issues using it?
I haven't participated in this year's Lunar Festival, but I want the two lanterns you can get (one for Alliance, one for Horde). I should devote a (boring) chunk of time to getting these.
TSM is looking really interesting, I've been using them since they came out and I haven't regretted it. Looking forward to TSM4.
damn, the system about the transmog drops is pretty cool. But I hoped it could come earlier, and not in BfA.. it is so long to wait..
> Have you participated in the Lunar Festival this year?ofc yes! At least I may use nice dresses as a hunter; there are some mail dresses for shamans, but they aren't so cool as a simple cloth dress.> What do you think about the proposed legacy loot rule changes?Great for me, will wait it before new lootruns :)
I didn't like Inscription in Legion. I hope they do some changes for the BfA because my main gold for a profession it's not only making gold.
Pretty sure the purpose of the Blood of Sargeras hotfix was to get people out of the "garrisons". WoD turned into garrison farming, and no one ever ventured out unless they had to. I think Blizz is trying hard to not see a repeat of that.
I usually just slowly accumulate gold with the gold missions rather than obsessing over the Blood of Sargeras; that being said I'm sadly not a true gold goblin. As for inscription, I made money off of it in WoD, but since Legion requires so much more work with it, I haven't finished leveling with it or anything, so the answer to that is no, I guess.
In terms of goblin ethics, well, I think it comes down to this; if what you're doing is within the rules of the game, it's not really unethical. It might be mean spirited, it might take advantage of the ignorance of others, but it isn't really unethical. There might be outliers I haven't considered, but if someone is posting something cheap to transfer cross-faction, or if someone posts something without checking the market value, or without double checking their listing to make sure they set it at the price they meant to...well, that's on them, not you. I don't personally like some of the things that are possible within the system, but I wouldn't call the people doing them unethical. The new loot rules for legacy content are a welcome sign that Blizzard does in fact listen to people, and I can't wait for them to be implemented. The wording makes it sound like it won't happen until BfA, but I still hold out some hope we might see it earlier than that.
The proposed legacy loot changes seem to be good. They should go a long way toward making old transmog sets easier and more convenient to farm.
God, the TSM team is amazing and working really hard on the new structures. I'd like to thank them all! I have not been invited to the Beta though and I'm ok with that. And those Inscription tips and guides do come quite handy, thank you very much to their respective authors! And about the festival - I've decided to skip on it this year, since I've got all achievements and I don't feel like farming coins for the vendor items. But the loot changes are really nice and I don't know why they weren't implemented in the first place...
Can't wait for the Legacy Loot. Sad that it is coming in BFA and not earlier. :(
Where do you draw the line? There is no line. The Auction House is a cutthroat business. Used to sell uncut gems and always undercut. Why? They were a by product of some dailies or from mining and unlike 90% of people that gather, I don't assign a value to my time...in a game...that I play for fun anyway. As a Leatherworker with every in game pattern, I will have, will and will again undercut every single item I'm selling. Not trying to sell, but selling. Why? Because mine was cheaper and I have the gold and the higher prices are likely still sitting on the AH.Do you snipe the Auction House? If I don't, someone will. Again, cutthroat. Have you ever sent something back or been asked to send something back, what did you do? Had buyers remorse, yes. Messaged someone with a sad story to get gold back, no. Yes, have been messaged to send something back. Simple solution to that, delete and ignore.
I've tried to post items from a toon on one faction and buy it with a toon on the other faction. I've gotten an error message saying that you can't purchase your own auctions. Do you need a friend to make the purchase for you? I've never used TSM, but I am interested in trying it. What are your best recommendations/tips/tricks for TSM? Thanks in advance :)
Good to see that layout in TSM4 changed. In my opinion the TS3 wasn't so fine.
give me an addon where i dont need to spend anytime using it and gives me free gold
Haven't done the Lunar event this year as I just can't put myself to do it, just been farming Uldaman and Silithus for now. Quite looking forward to the new legacy loot system, I like transmogs but sometimes it doesn't drop for ages, hope this will solve it
The loot system about the transmog items is really cool i hope we have it earlier and not at BfA!
In TSM3 it has the habit of telling me that equipment repair costs are negatively affecting my gold balances; however, in truth my guild pays for repairs to gear –– up to a point, based on guild rank. What I'd like to see in TSM4 is if some costs are not covered by the player, they should not be presented in the gold summary. Of course, if the player exceeds the daily allotted gold for repairs, then TSM4 will track the difference.Something like this: if the guild allows 100 gold per day for repairs and I use 14 gold, then my repair cost in TSM4 should say 0 because I am out 0 gold. I still have 86 gold for the day until I actually accrue a repair cost. At that point, after 100 gold is used up, if my repairs are another 3 gold, then TSM4 should say I spent 3 gold on repairs, possibly with a saved note. -3g (100g saved) or something like that. 0g (86g saved).
