The part about having to go to The Darkmoon Faire is not true, If I remember right, once you combine the cards it makes the one card that starts the quest, once you accpet the quest it gives you a new card that you can click on and the person will come to you. I submitted a screenshot of the person that came to me.

Yeah. When you use the deck, it summons a Darkmoon Fortune Teller or something to your location. You talk to that person and it completes the quest.

Easy 25 exp and a decent item, as well as 27 reputation with Darkmoon Faire.

The current requirements for this quest are that you're level 10. You don't need to be a scribe to do the quest.

As Siigari said, using the quest item will summon forth the Darkmoon Fortune Teller who will let you complete your quest. This does not grant you access to the usual buffs that the fortune tellers are known to offer.

Functions like a normal quest. ^^ Kinda fun for the low level characters.

I did the quest today on my lvl 29 and only got 25xp. Either the mentioned amount is wrong, or the xp curve scales down with higher levels.

I just completed this 4 times on a level 10 looking for a specific Chestpiece, and it gave 275xp each turn in, NOT 25.

Theres a grammatic error in the quest text. It should say "It depicts a fortune teller that seems to stare at you no matter how you* hold the card.". Blizzard accidently didn't add the second 'you'

A quick note on using these for Darkmoon Faire rep: They are probably the bestway to do it, but it's still not easy, nor cheap, nor fast. The cost of making these is sufficiently low that even though you only get 25 rep for each deck, it's a lot cheaper than using the higher-level decks (25 rep for ~5g (on my server) or 350 rep for 70g with these, vs. 350 rep costs a lot more than 70g using level 60+ decks).

3000/6000 friendly (which you can get by turn-ins of other cheaper mats) to 0/999 exalted will take 1440 decks. 1440 decks is 4320 cards, with best-case scenario (exactly equal numbers of aces, twos, and threes produced).

If you're farming or buying herbs rather than cards, assuming an avg of 3 pigments per mill and 50% chance of a rare pigment, you're looking at well over 6k herbs (300 stacks).

Time it takes to get from 3000/6000 Friendly to 0/999 Exalted with Darkmoon Fair using these:

1440 turn-ins x 5 min = 7200 min.

7200 / 60 = 120 hours. Assume you play 10 hours per day,
120 / 10 = ONLY 12 DAYS!

After walking around with "3 months+ non-stop turn-in" nightmare scenarios, this is quite a relief. makes assembling the mats a fun job!

Note: It's actually 7195 minutes due to having not to wait 5 min after the last turn-in, but thats nothin.
