I thought I remembered that about Windshear Crag too, but when I went there it was mostly Oil Spills (which are firefin snapper) and not floating wreckage. I only found 1 Floating Wreckage and I was there for about an hour -- I have the fish finder so I could easily get the schools as soon as they popped up.
Maybe I was just unlucky or maybe they have changed the dynamics of the schools of fish in Windshear Crag to be more Firefin and less Wreckage.

There's some off the east coast of Dustwallow Marsh, near the defias rummagers, but sadly, it's not loot-able.

This is how to get rich fishing, really. By level 45 you should be able to fish Feralas easily, and one round of fishing there routinely nets me 10-20g selling items in AH and occasional green drops.

Unfortunately, for Horde at lower levels, most fishing spots are surrounded by unfriendly mobs or are in more Alliance-controlled territory (ie. Wetlands), or both.

The most common drop are Trunks (牢牢封起的大箱, 防水大箱, 鐵箍大箱, 秘銀大箱 etc..) The quality of loot inside depends on the level of trunk, which depends on the area's level. Trunks may randomly contain:

Trade goods (Bolts of cloth, Leather)
Potions (Healing and Mana)
Bags
Money
Uncommon items (armor, weapons, recipes)

Bloated fish (浮腫的大魚, 醃製紅鰓魚, etc.). A bloated fish can be opened to obtain:

A gem
An uncommon quality ring or necklace
荊棘藻 (1-3 pieces)
美味淡蘭姆酒, 美味濃蘭姆酒, or 黑標美味蘭姆酒 (gets you drunk and grants a stamina buff)

Found one in Tanaris on the south-east cost. In the comments of the achievement "The Scavenger", you will find other locations.
