You *CANNOT* obtain the recipe for the alchemical stone if you are a Bloodsail Admiral. You will need to go to Stranglethorn, and kill Venture Co NPCs until you are at least friendly with Gadgetzan. Found this out the hard way.

hes by sprinkle - theyre standing outside a hut last on the left as youre going out towards the horde griff master - hes in there - i did a quest for him - it didnt appear as a yellow dot tho but go into the hut - hes there
