I had trouble finding this NPC, but then again, I have a terrible sense of direction. In case anyone needs, these directions, by vn_Ishi, were extremely helpful:

From the entrance, go right and follow the path. When you come to a spot where you can turn left and go down - don't. Stay along the path and you'll eventually come to an area with Rope Bridges. Go across each one and the last one leads down into a cave full of bats.

Work your way through this cave. It wraps around to a spot you can exit, where you will see a ramp leading up to a hut that has Charlga.

The Crone drops the Clutch ring almost all of the time I kill her. Sometimes she drops the heart shield and only once have I received a spinel ring of nature resistence and the blue axe she drops. One tip for fighting this ugly boar, do not waste your time on Damage over time spells or effects as she dispells herself. She cannot be stunned or interrupted so dont bother, just burn her down with direct or melee damage.

Also don't bother trying to drain her power, she has an instant FULL power repleanishment. She did it 3 times to us last night. She's immune to silence and curse of toungues as well. Just beat her down and save your power for healing/dispelling her shield.

u cant only get that quest from alliance, but there is one exactly like it for horde in TB, thats what heart is for, so u can get all the same items except the gun

Pull her out of the tower so your warriors or rogues can all attack her at once. Be careful though because she is a spellcaster so you have to step pretty far back. Her chain lighting blows. Pretty easy if you have a healer.

How can this boss kick ur butt? It only knows 3 spells: lighning chain, a shield that can make her invisible for a short duration, and mana replanishment. It doesnt do good dps too. I soloed it with my lvl34 hunter even though it took like 3 minutes.

I started by shooting the boss so that it would atk me first. When my hp almost ran out, I used feign death so that it switched target from me to my pet. My pet became the tank thereafter, and killed it at last... It wasnt hard at all.

im an alliance 41 mage, alinia, on windrunner, ppl tell me there are to Crone of krauls. 1 to left and 1 to right, which one is this guy located, need respawn cause i want thoose shoulders.

just took her down with 2 druids 2 shamans and me, a rogue. Nobody was over lvl 28 and one shammy was lvl 25.

no cloth.. NO MERCY!

Pronged Reaver, Corpsemaker, Death Speaker Scepter, Heart of Agamaggan, Tusken Helm...just lucky I s'pose, but my 30 Warrior is happy :P

But 1 thing no one has mentioned is where i get the quest for this boss? Can anyone possibly tell me? Or is there no quest for it in the Alliance side?

Do a search for Razorfen Kraul and read the quests for it.

In relation to Alliance side quest, it starts at a dwarfs skeleton at the bottom of the great lift just south of the instance. You need to make sure you click on the dwarfs BOOK, not his skeleton. this shoudl take you to thalanaar, where another NPC gives you the quest for the crone.

Btw i dont know about this boss but the guy who complained about getting two rare things of the same boss, that can happen. I got two blue items of the licht in the downs.

from right under and behind this mobs booth, there is a trick to get up the hill without going through the bats. i tried this and she was not there, so i had to go back and i went through the bats and the 4/5 mobs by the fire and poof she spawned.

maybe in order for her to show up you have to do something in the cave? I havent figured what it is exactly, hope this helps.

He is the last boss at RFK. Not tough actually.. He has Lightning Chain so beware (he also does immuneshield).
