Salvaged Demolisher

The Salvaged Demolisher is a vehicle in Ulduar, the new raid instance introduced in Patch 3.1.

As with the other siege engines in the Ulduar instance, they have simular abilites to the vehicles in Wintergrasp, though with some additions that greatly help you defeat the Flame Leviathan.
The vehicle also has another handy addition, it scales the demolishers health points with your gear's item levels, though this DOES NOT mean that people with bad gear cannot do Flame Leviathan though, the boss fight mainly requires tactics to work well, and a strong amount of teamwork.

Tactics for demolisher pilots

The tactics for demolishers are really simple. All the pilot need do is keep 10 stacks of the Hurl Pyrite Barrel DoT at all times. Other than this you need to make sure that he does not touch you if he sets his sight on you, the gunner can help greatly if this happens as i will describe further below, and keep firing the normal Hurl Boulder ability.

Tactics for demolisher gunners

The job of a demolisher gunner is to keep the energy of their demolisher at 50 energy (max energy of a demolisher), to do this, Pyrite Safety Containers need to be shot down so you can use Pyrite Claw on Liquid Pyrite which land on the ground. Also, the gunners need to useSpeed Increase when the boss is chasing after their tank.

Salvaged Demolishers gain approximately 1080 HP per increase in item level.

Assuming linear scaling, no hard cap, and a driver outfitted in all ilvl 239 gear (only one 239 trinket is currently known), a Demolisher would have roughly 1.32 million HP.

I wrote this to help when we were doing FL+4 on 10-man and I spent the whole night shooting down Liquid Pyrite barrels and didn't wanna be busy wasting time clicking them to target. I just stuck it on a hotkey on my sidebars and kept spamming that anytime my Demolisher's Pyrite stock dropped to 25 (50%).

If you're using a barmod like Dominos or anything that has a Posses Bar and it's set to #1, just remove and that should work (at least it did for me when I dumped the default UI for Dominos)
