Wow, what an absolute bunch of garbage, so venture coins are pretty much useless unless you have a class that uses idols/librams/totems. Way to go blizz. Even the trinkets are basically the same as a zangar marsh quest reward. The capes are sub par to compared to much easier to get reputation items.
Seems odd to go to all the trouble of developing all these PvP quests/areas that no one will bother doing once they have the Gizzled Veteran achievement.

Have to agree they are pretty useless rewards for most classes, if not all. You'd think that PVP dailys would give PVP gear rewards, or at least something decent to level with :(

To control Venture Bay and get access to this NPC, you need to turn the light house to alliance side. Flag can be found on 14.5,86.7.

As a resto shaman, Totem of the Bay is THE best healing totem so far. So sure, somethings that he sells is useless, but don't auto ignore it, you might miss something.

The vendor from the last faction owner of the lighthouse will remain alive at the doorway until killed, or until fully captured by the other faction.

Did this today and the vendor disappeared as soon as the isle became neutral.

I'd like to add that if you're trying to solo cap this place it's not hard at all at 80. There were about 10-15 76 elites here and it took me maybe 10 minutes to kill them and move the flag to alliance side from full horde side.

As a low lvl you can still solo it, you just avoid killing everything :D

Simply approach by the water.. if you come up from the south side near the docks you can stand at the back of the lighthouse and you will eventually cap it. If you come in directly at the lighthouse you can avoid aggroing any mobs at all. Just did this at lvl 74.

ret pala libram is great, 100% proc rate of 1.6% crit bonus(lv 80) lasts 8 seconds on divine storms 10 second CD. well worth the little effort imo.

I captured Venture Bay to get the libram for my prot pally. NPC in question never spawned. Has currently been close to two hours.

Im having the same problem with the spawn of this npc. Completely captured the flag and just to be sure, i killed every elite on the island. I also left the area for about 5 minutes (headed up to blue sky logging) when i returned he still wasnt there. Opening a ticket now.

Just had to capture it on my shaman. After the flag is captured, I had to wait about 10 minutes for the alliance npcs to spawn and start beating up the horde npcs. About 5 minutes later, Mr. Adam's spawned just fine.

Just capped it on my lvl 74 rogue, all the alliance NPCs spawned instantly including Mr. Adams and started kicking horde butt

As touched upon further above, this man is an absolute mat-mine if you need Dream Shards. I didn't notice him until I had amassed about 230 adventure coins, which I hastily converted into a deliciously lucrative stack of small dream shards, which I in turn converted into large ones to level enchanting.

And, as also noted above, the coins are easy to obtain, making this the easiest and most reliable source of the shards. If you instance regularly you'll have a lot of them anyway, but it's nice to know this guy is here if some sudden, desperate need arises.

This is just wierd. I hid and got the town to alliance and some NPC's started fighting it out. Grizzly Adams spawned in the doorway to the house but there are two 76 elite hordes guarding the doorway.. He's not fighting them. Some alliance npc came by on his horse but got killed by them. I'll try back later.

If you are looking for this NPC. you need to fully control (like have your faction at full and usually takes almost 10 minutes) to make the faction NPCs spawn. just did on Skyfury-PVP Wrath Classic
