Farming the Felsteel Boomstick Schematic took quite a bit of time as there is only about 4 or 5 of the Doomforge Engineers that spawn at any given time.

I spent 4 hours farming them total (2 one day then 2 the next). The best thing to do is just farm them while doing the Damaged Mask Quest.

If you don't get it after a couple of hours, take a break and keep trying later, you'll get it eventually!

Only 5 or 6 of these guys spawn at once, so if you are after the schematic, be prepared to waste some time twiddling your thumbs. :P

got this after 15hrs farming... they take 2 long to farm and their are only 5 of them

i just got this after about 6 hrs of farming. killed tons of mobs. i didnt think it was ever going to drop. now time to farm for the khorium scope somemore. Happy hunting

Doom Forge Engineers do drop an engineering schematic for the Felsteel BoomStick.
