i sawl this frenzy on my 46 and got my good armor on and was gonna fight it untill when i got down there on the plank in the water it was gone i searched on the right side of booty bay because Rippa was near it and i got mad so i freaked out and went on my journey to the goblin statue killing Mok " Rash

I never knew this guy existed, till my 19 was swimming into BB from the Fishing Tourney. Luckily (sorta), healing pot lifeblood and BB guards kept me alive.

NB: The BB guards jumped him when he aggroed 3-4 at least, and from the middle of the bay. So if you're aiming to kill him, don't kite him into the bay.

This was the only unique named frenzy until WotLK (there is now Frostfin), and is still the only rare frenzy. Obviously, like all fishes, he is untameable.

Also, it is probably not a reference to Kelly Ripa, but who knows.

Silver Dragon - Rare monster.

Very rare to find this fish. Usually spawns in the waters of booty bay. Drops good items, attacks very fast but does no real damage.

lol. i was doing my bloodsail quest to kill the swash whatever, and just saw him in the water and killed him. Im glad I wasnt looking for him :P

I was just idlly fishing near the Ruins of Aboraz, roughly near 40,60 (on the small peninsula near there). Saw it, and figured, *meh*. He dropped some Ok items which I'll either vendor, AH or DE.

Me and 3 friends were just messing around In Booty Bay on our alts and we were drowning in the water for fun etc and we saw this fish and he killed me. So I log onto my main which was in Westfall at the time (No im not alliance) so I got to booty bay and by the time I got there my friends had kited him into Evade mode on land. Hes like FISH ON LAND! so it is possible to get a fish on land

Found and killed while waiting for fish contest to star earlier today in BB port, time: 1:16pm
day17/6/07 battle was quick, only about 1 min, for something that is 2 lvs higher than me(marksman dwaf hunter lv 42) he doesn't do much REAL damage, quick attacker though, be careful when fighting if u are at least in ur 36-40s,he is easily soloable in 40+ lvs though.

Saw this guy while i was fishing off the dock in BB, i was like whats this big fish doing here clicked him saw it was a rare and voe right in the water and killed him. He was really easy for a level 45 rogue. I missed the ship but he dropped a fairly good equip.

Like others I was just chucking a line out in BB when my Track Beasts picked up Rippa- mad!

Dived in and sent pet to attack- it put up a fairly reasonable fight and then dropped a green cape +10 Def.

Very surprised to see it- a few other chaps picked it up too and leapt into the water from various points around Booty. Best laugh I've had on wow for a long time :)

Found Rippa while swimming between BB and the bloodsail camp, it dropped the mail breastplate mentioned earlier.

At bloodsail camp, killed it. nothing interesting other than a green.

found it near the BB/Ratchet boat, not even swimming, just sitting there. haven't seen it in that spot in over 8 hrs. dropped green leggings. i'll update when i review my screenshot.

It's about twice the size of the Sharptooth Frenzies in the river of STV.

Found this one near Jagero Island.

Dropped Gossamer Legging of Spirit (cloth, +17 spirit)

Like the other post says, he wasn't swimming around... just staying in one spot.

Good question, Elinius. Is this rare beast tameable? Don't see how it would follow you around to kill things.

Found on the Wild Shore (bottom tip of STV), just to the east of that last bloodsail camp where the tailor supplier is.(27,83) He came right up to the water line or I wouldn't have noticed him while I was fishing. He dropped Royal Gloves of the Owl.

Lately, this fish has been plagued by a LOS bug. If you keep getting that error when trying to kill, move yourself and kite Rippa around a bit, you'll eventually be able to hit. It's as if there's a few invisible barriers in the bay.
