Duo'ed her with two lvl 60 hunters in no raid gear.
Tips:
1. Down the imp first, it goes fast.
2. She's a warlock with immolate etc..
3. Immune to slows/ice
Straight forward kill other than that, no spawn..
If you kill the imp and feign, when she resets the imp is still gone.

My rogue buddy and I both soloed her several times. We dont have the best gear (Instance blues and Exalted AV epics) and it was an easy fight. All you have to do is stealth upto her, then do full dps on him and once you down the imp vanish. Then get your health up and get one rogue to start the fight with a cheap shot. Once the cheap shot wears off the other rogue does his cheap shot. Once the two cheap shots wear off the rogue who started the fight should have 5 combo points to do a kidney shot. Once the kidney shot wears off the other rogue does his kidney shot. If Lethendris is not dead at this point. Then one of your rogues should vanish and cheap shot again. and etc. I find the fight easy if you keep him stunned for the majority of the fight.

If you read it, it´s obvious that they were two roughes taking her on so I guess he doesn´t understand the meaning of soloed.
Apart from that thought the tips weren´t to bad

Soloable as a 66 Combat Rogue.
Kick, Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot, and poisons work on Lethtendris.
Gouge and Blind do not.
Instant Poison on the main-hand, and Mind-numbing Poison on the off-hand weapon were very effective.
A good source for
Large Brilliant Shards
, some
Greater Eternal Essences
, and a bit of
Illusion Dust
. Herbalists can easily pick up a few
Ghost Mushrooms
along the way.

With practice, you can work your way through both the imp, then Lethtendris in a single session. Distract to get them to stand still. Position yourself so they’re
both
in melee range. Begin with the imp, who has the lowest hit points. Lead with Cheap Shot, Blade Flurry, Slice and Dice, Adrenaline Rush, and Evasion.
Despite being two casters, a sizable portion of their damage comes from melee. You'll take minimal damage while Evasion is up. The imp should die well before it runs out.
Ensure Lethtendris is in range during the opening melee. With Blade Flurry, she'll take an equal amount of damage. She’ll be down to 12,000 HP, by the time the imp dies. Use Cloak of Shadows early if Immolate is successfully cast on you. It'll eliminate the DOT and provide 5 seconds of near-immunity vs. the casters.
When the imp goes down, switch to Lethtendris. Keep focused on Interrupts, over DPS. Mind Numbing Poison should extend the casting time of Immolate to 3-4 seconds. The Shadow Bolt will be around 6 seconds. Let her waste her time casting. Wait until the last second to use Kick or Kidney Shot. The poison-slowed casting will ensure that an interrupt will almost always be available.
With a little practice, it’s easy to end the fight with 50% health, or higher.

Lethendris is accompanied by the imp
Pimgib
. As you fight Lethendris she will buff the imp as the battle progresses. As the imp also is easier to kill it is best to kill Pimgib before Lethendris..

Hmm , Lethtendris ...she is so easy if u kick her spells and stun her at cd with kidney shot , I downed her as a 62 rogue (subtlety spec)
Carrefull tho with the imp , he must go down 1st .I used my own tact :premeditation on imp , shadowstep , cheapshot = 5 combo with the intiative skill and then evis , I got lucky and did 2700 evis crit :P but u can still make it if u kick leth when u see that she casts then switch bag to imp .After imp dies u dps her a bit then simply sprint down on stairs and go in a corner , bandage and go b to her , just keep her in stuns and kick she's spells , I also used a super healling pot . I also used deadly poison on both weps for a faster kill. That was it , very good place to skill up your enchanting , that is by soloing. /cheer

From the lower level, take the hallway path that looks like a little circlet or ring at the bottom R corner of the instance map. That brings you up a level. Next take the large ramp up. She is straight ahead.

Lately I've been running DM again now that 3.3 hit, and my groups have always killed her first, despite the order Wowhead has.

You have to go through a room of satyrs and vicious plants then there's an elevated platform (All in the east wing of DM). Go up the ramp at the end of the room and she'll be there w/her minion.

You can farm him with 2 60 rogues. Just beat him up really fast with expose armor and stunlock.

2 60 rogues tactics: try to kill the imp first then vanish, if you try to nuke Leth the imp *will* kill you both. She is a caster so not much point using expose armor, but if you can keep her stunlocked *after* killing the imp, you may just beat her. She is kickable btw, which helps, hits for 400+/hit though with her melee attack. Bringing Shadow and fire protect pots will help you greatly in the fights if you got the $. It's possible with 2 60's, just not easy like the above poster led me to believe so i'm clearing it up.

If I go bear tank and bash/heal as necessary, can I do this one by myself?

I go to DM sometimes when i'm bored and want to try my luck with a Libram.
So I think about taking on this boss and her pet and see a Dusty Tome!
Jackpot! I had to assume there was a Quel book inside; so as i'm getting ready to solo her I think to myself "Hey, why not just distract her as she paths and open it then?"
Well, to make a short story even shorter, if you're around those parts and see the book up, just take my advice and distract her and take it.. then go back for her.

Lay frost trap, open up with an Aimed shot *Survival spec helps* continue w/ all DPS on the imp, he doesn't have much health, as you go down the ramp hes slowed. You may get hit a few times, but once the imp dies, Feign and she will reset without the imp, go back up, and dps her down & kite around the ramp down. Also you don't need a pet for this but it can help in the 2nd phase so you can FD to put aggro back on the pet while you bandage

She can be easily solo'd by a rogue. The trick is 2 greater shadow protection potions and 2 greater fire resistence potions.
My gear is a mix of PVP and tier .5. Nothing spectacular. If you have close to tier 0 gear you should be able to do this.
To get to her come in from the side entrance to DM east. Instead of going into the courtyard where all the instance entrances are- go EAST down the long corridor before the courtyard.
Once you are in- stealth and head straight ahead avoiding mobs by walking on the edge of the dropoff. Don't fall! Now you will see a hallway to your right. Take that hallway and take your first right. Now Lethtendris is right above you on the platform. Make your way forward to the ramp and stop at the foot of the ramp.
Make sure your weapons are poisoned with deadly poison/instant or mind numbing/deadly or a combination of those. Take the greater shadow resistence potion then wait 2 minutes. Then take the greater fire protection potion and wait 2 minutes. Hopefully you brought a few major healing pots also.
The rest is straight forward. The whole key to winning is the protection pots. Open up on the imp and blow all your cooldowns- evasion, blade fury, adreneline rush, whatever you got. The imp will go down fairly quick and you should have enough time to loot the imp. Sprint towards the ramp and vanish.
The imps dead now so its just you and her. Try to drink another greater fire resistence and wait and drink the greater shadow resistence. If it says a greater spell is active then the first one you took still has enough juice. Wait for all your cooldowns and take her out.
Not a hard fight- just keep her stunned and kicked down as much as possible. You may need a major healing pot towards the end but usually not.
This is expensive method but it has worked 100% of the many times I've killed her. It was worth it to me because I needed a FR headgear.

Nowadays it's easily soloable by anyone, I gather. Just soloed it as a 70 lock, just to see if it's possible- and it is easy :)
Kill the imp, kill her... nothing much really. Imp cannot be banished or enslaved, don't bother to try. Gl :)

Honsetly who cares if she can be beaten with rogues? Where the heck is she? And don't use cords because not everyone has them thanks... Usually we get smart people here to tell us what we need to know, apparently not this time. Rogues, rogues, rogues, what about the location? I have no clue where Dire Maul is and I've seen plenty of people here ask about it. Anyone answer them? NO.

Dire Maul is in the center of Feralas. Follow the path west out of Camp Mojache, cross the stone bridge, and turn north at the trail junction...blue lampost at the junction

I just open the imp, enable AR, 5points, KS, 5points, evisc, sprint, vanish
Wait 6min, do the same with lethlendris but this time I use expose armor. I try to kick all her spells
No pots needed till the moment

How are you 'farming' her for her wand Ciyana? I assume the drops have changed, as the 3 most common things she drops are BoP...

I just soloed her tonight (60 rogue). I attempted this several times prior to hitting 60, and I can tell you right now that without a ton of shadow and fire resist, she will "WTFPWN" you, as they say in the vernacular.
I pulled it off as a NON-EPIC Cold Blood/Preparation spec rogue (so, 24/2/25) with around 1200 HP to spare. This was an expensive project, and I also had help from engineering trinket pets. Kids, don't try this at home. Or, at least if you're going to, read the following.
This fight took me a buttload of potions. I brought along an Elixir of the Mongoose, two Greater Shadow Protection Potions (one for before and one for after killing the imp), one Greater Fire Protection Potion, one Gift of Arthas, the obligatory stack of Major Healing Potions, and I managed to get a Major Healthstone beforehand, too. Quite the shopping list, right?
First off, I opened with a distract and went pure DPS on the imp. This means Ambush. Lethtendris hits freaking HARD, so you don't want this to last long. I opened up with Ambush, hit Evasion, racked up my five combo points, Cold Blood, Eviscerate. I managed to kill him before Evasion wore off, so I Vanished right then. Lethtendris will usually have you dotted here, which will break stealth (potion or no), so you need to get out of her "comfort zone" before you vanish. If you're about 10 yards back from her wander path, it won't matter if stealth breaks while she's running back.
I actually screwed that last part up -- stealth broke and she turned around and came after me again. Preparation, vanish again... Woo hoo. For the "real" fight, I scarfed some health food for the stamina bonus. Always nice.
For Lethtendris, I opened up with a Cheap Shot and vanished. I wanted to start the fight off with five combo points... Hehe. Here's where it gets nuts. Went in again, Cheap Shot, Gnomish Battle Chicken, Mithril Mechanical Dragonling, Mechanical Yeti, Evasion. You can imagine what her HP bar looked like after that second Cold Blooded eviscerate. After my second evasion faded, she'd killed two of my pets, so I focused on interrupting her casting whenever possible. Took her down right after she nuked the yeti into oblivion... Little over 45-50 second fight.
Note: healthstones are on the same timer as thistle tea. You have been warned.
Also, Dragonbreath Chili and Instant Poison are great in this fight. So's a scroll of stamina.
Edit: When I say "non-epic," I mean blues and greens -- think I had my three BoE Tier 0 items, a Shadow Prowler's Cloak, chest and shoulders from Maraudon, and the rest were "monkey" greens. Weapon-wise, I'm pretty sure I was using a Thrash Blade mainhand (with a fiery enchant) and a Hanzo Sword offhand (also with fiery) back then.
