Crystal Fang is a Rare Spawn in LBRS. It has a chance to appear near the area that Mother Smolderweb, another spider boss (Non-Rare) is in.
I've never seen it before, however I haven't done to many runs of LBRS either.

Location on an Atlas map.
On this map, he... She... It... Whatever, is number 14, and Mother Smolderweb is number 13. Just to the left.

Killed this today while soloing at 80, I have never seen before, must be a very rare spawn.

Rare spawn, spawns in the area where the ogres are at the top. If you dont see Crystal Fang here then it isnt up this time.

There's another drop this rare spawn has. It's a very nice rogue dagger that will slow the target 10% for 10 seconds...40 ish dps. Called Fang of the Crystal Spider

Crystal Fang has been temporarily removed as of patch 1.5.0 and should be returned in the next patch. If you have gone to LBRS since the patch you will notice that all of the spiders in the area where Crystal Fang spawns have also been removed.

I put +15 agility on it, and it rocks...It dropped from, The Mother's Milk" Spider at the top of the ramp.

Never seen her so I'm not exactly sure where you mean, on the ogre platform just across from where you jump down the ledges?

Also, is she positioned where you can solo her like you can with Ma' Smolderweb?

Soloed this as a level 60 balance druid.

Cleared out the non-elite spiders one by one with suicide runs, pulled Crystal Fang with a starfire. Hibernated the other spider, and pulled back onto the ramp near the ogres so I would have time to re-hibernate if it broke (The Spire Spiders stun you as soon as they can when hibernate breaks.) Fairly easy to solo, not a particularly strong rare. Used a limited invulnerability potion just to be safe, but probably could've healed through without it.

Dropped Fallbrush Handgrips first kill. :D

Note: This is a RARE rare spawn, and it might take you a while to get it to spawn.

30/0/21 Cold Blood / Preparation Build

Mobs

- 4 Non-Elite Spiders
- 1 Elite Spider => Splits into 4 Non-Elite Spiders upon death
- 1 Crystal Fang Boss => Splits into 4 Non-Elite Spiders upon death

Equipment

- Stormshroud Armor Set
- Barov Peasant Caller trinket
- Chained Essence of Eranikus trinket or some extra damage dealing trinket.

Very Useful Potions

- Elixir of the Mongoose
- Major Healing Potions
- Any other potions that may contribute to stats.

Objective: Clear the room and get Crystal Fang by himself before striking him. Note that attacking any spider in that room will cause every spider in that room to attack you.

Getting to the spot to check if the spider is there should just ideally take 5 minutes. If it's not there than it'll take 5 minutes to get out and reset.

STEP 1

Kill 4 non-elites spider. You do not need to use any poisons or potions for this part. Save it up for elite and boss. Ambush one spider, hit Evasion and Ghostly Strike and try to kill it ASAP. Do NOT use Cold Blood. Target another non-elite spider and kill it ASAP using Cold Blood. Vanish! Use Preparation and repeat process with next 2 non-elite spiders.

Wait 10 minutes until all timers are up for insurance.

(Ideally 10 minutes)

STEP 2

Here is where you would want to use any stat increasing potions.

You're going to go all out on elite. Hit elite spider with Ambush, hit Evasion, Ghostly Strike, and Cold Blood. Use your trinkets to get some extra damage. Use Preparation for double Evasion and Ghostly Strike to ensure victory. When the elite spider dies it will split into 4 non-elite spiders.

Wait 10 minutes until all timers are up for insurance.

(Ideally 10 minutes)

STEP 3

Same as STEP 1.

(Ideally 10 minutes)

STEP 4

Same as STEP 2 except you may want to loot the boss before you Vanish to avoid the non-elite spiders appear upon Crystal Fang's death.

(Ideally 10 minutes)

OVERALL

If you do it right it'll ideally it will take 45 minutes for you to do an solo Crystal Fang when he appears.

So 10 minutes to check and reset. Not only that, there is a limit of how many times you can reset/enter an instance. But in all better than trying to look for a LBRS group and doing everything everyone wants.

It's a rare spawn from the spiders in Lower Blackrock Spire. It's the only place i've seen some of those.

I've been in LBRS 20 times and still haven't seen CF.. i even make the grp kill ALL spiders in hope of one of them will spawn CF but it never happens and every time i kill Mother S she won't drop that damn mace! This instance is really pissing me off..
