Back when I was new to the game and levelling a warrior as my first character, I used to think these were really awesome pants. I felt that these and the Green Iron Hauberk were definitely the chest and leg pieces you wanted to be wearing at level 31 with your warrior.

Now in retrospect, with better understanding of the game mechanics, I see now that these pants really aren't hot at all, and that I'd probably not bother with the Green Iron Hauberk either, just sticking with the Shining Silver Breastplate through levels 24-39.

The thing with these pants are that they are tanking pants, at a level where tanking isn't important at all, and even then I'd rather use an "of the bear" green for tanking because in the typical instance you pug at level 30-39, you just need to hold aggro... the mobs just don't hit hard enough to warrant dedicated mitigation pieces.

Really you should wear any green "of the bear" or "of the tiger" legs off AH over these - e.g. Thick Scale Legguards giving +8-9/+8-9 str/stam/agi. While levelling any class you always want dps stats, not pure defensive stats.

Lots of Armour points, about double that of most others its level. The weakness of them is no + stat. If you use them buy an enchant ASAP.

I really like this leggins. Just hit 40 and still can´t find anything better. They also llook really cool on my male char and very sexy on female characters.

I used a pair of these with an enchant plus had a green iron hauberk till like L 43-44 till I replaced them with some min level 43-44 plate. They are basically equivalent to L 40-41 plate.

As far as green iron hauberk vs shining silver breastplate, both are awesome. Green iron has like 120 more armor points, shining silver has several more strength points. Rough call. If you find/can afford iri pearls while shining will still level your BS get it and skip the green iron, If you don't find iri preals before you can make green iron, just make a green iron and forget the shining silver.

Not that good for level 29 pali/warrior twinks. Got lots of str and def rating but because 1/2 of the attacks or more heading to 60% is magical it's a big useless. Would prefer Phalanx 9str 9sta so you have both AP and health.

I have to say, you don't really need the extra defense on these leggings at such a low level. They should remove it and put stamina or strength on it since the armor on it is pretty high compared to other "green" leggings you'll get at this level.

these chain pants rock.. you can get them at a low lvl, as long as you have a high lvl walking you through the instance... you can wear these pants at lvl 25- 30's ... i highly recommend you acquire them

the 4% extra dmg reduction is more beneficial than a measly 50 health while tanking. also, the extra 5 defense allows you to add another level to your tanking ability. Its not just the +parry, +block and the +dodge, but also the decreased chance of being critted or the enemy landing a crushing blow.

These Mail leggings are the best a pre-40 warrior can get until the Scarlet leggings, which are the best mail pants available to a warrior. I used the Dual reinforced until 38, where i got the scaret leggings, which i used well into the mid 40's.

I'm a 29 arms warrior twink and I'm wearing the westfall pants, and don't plan on changing. These pants are tempting mind you, but no stats? It's just not worth it.

As for a twink 29 fury warrior, I've seen some wear the triprunner pants despite them being leather, and I would probably wear them too.

I don't like the fury line at 29 personally since you don't get imp overpower, and most of the twinks you meat are either rogues or hunters. But hey that's just my thoughts.

18 Agility is only worth something like 1% to your criticals, maybe 2%? I'm herb/alch professioned, and the hour-long duration of the +15 agility potion barely justifies using the herbs it requires, and only then in extremely difficult areas.

I'm a DPS warrior with a two-handed weapon, so I really, really like criticals. A lot. But it's just not worth it. I'm going for the extra 300 armor and def rating, it will almost make up for not using a shield.

Anyone who still isn't convinced these are the right reward for their mail-using char, consider that an extra 2% (tops) to your crit rate will help you kill maybe one in five monsters slightly faster. On the other hand (and let's imagine the +def evens out with the bonus from +18 agl), an amazing extra 300 armor will help you kill five monsters at once slightly easier.

The leathers are much better suited for the rogues and hunters.

There are very few leg enchants, and the ones that are out there need someone to be a higher level to put them on. Like the clefthide leg armor, you need to be 60 to put those on. So the legs have to be BOE. The best you could do for these is get a friend to do one of the libram quests and get an arcanum of _____________ and then have them put it on your legs in the "will not be traded" box.

if you are a twink warrior get the triprunner.. il tell u a secret since the item lvl is 37 u can poot bad ass lvl 35 enchants on them. the dual reinforced leggings are only for tanking not pvp

i don't see why people want +7 defense rating. dunno about u guys but +7 defense rating gives me about .50% to block,parry,dodge at lvl 27. woo.

I REALLY love these leggings im playing as paladin secondary tank in my party and uses a two-handed sword.
these actually makes the survivability against multiple foes greatly beacase im not using a shield.
highly recomend to all mail-armor users at low-mid lvls.

they can break alright... I play on my friend's brothers account and my guy is the highest lvl on there, and he was playing on my guy and SOLD the Dual Reinforced Leggings for some shizzly Knight Guard Leggins of the Whale. Im sooo mad at him.

everyone should get these by lvl 33 at the latest. after having chausses of westfall for 13 lvls, these are the 1st leggings that i've seen which are actually better. easy to get ass well =P

I got these completing the quest in Gnomer, and while they are labeled as BOP, they have not bound to me - I am placing them on the AH now. =) Let's see if WoW catches on...
