After using the guide on wowhead forums to lvl Alchemy to 235, marched off to SoS, as a caster found blindweed to be a really fast and useful way to to hit 275, as had plenty of https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=3358 & https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=3821 to make https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=11461 & https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=11461 respectively, and also keep myself happily buffed for many levels to come!

Edit: Skilled me to 300 on herbie (so easy as so abundent).

ive been doing some quests in the swamp of sorrows and collected almost 60 of this, its ridiculously common there.

blindweed is used for superior mana potion, ie it's valuable :D

go to swamp of sorrows...plenty there...very abundant. spend 1hr 30min. or so farming there got over

120 blindweed...about 5G on AH for each 20 pack
60 liferoot...about 2G - 20pack
30 kingblood...about 3G - 20 pack
40 whiskers...about 3G 20 pack

in all, about...50-60G for less than 2hrs work

oh yeah...herbz are lucritive!

you all have been talking about finding blindweed in Horde places. Is there a place where alliance people can harvest it without running into Horde territory?

didn't even read the other posts it's probably already on here...swamp of sorrows has blindweed all over...i'm at 270 alchemy and didn't think i would be able to farm mats for potions at lvl 40. the swamp is perfect...lots of khadgar's whisker and blindweed perfect for elixir of greater intellect which goes green at 270

The Swamp of Sorrows is definitely the place for Blindweed.

Level 49 Holy Priest, I didn't aggro unless something walked into me while gathering, and had no problems killing them. :)

Spent 30 minutes and got:
34 Blindweed
10 Khadgar's Wisker
10 Liferoot
6 Kingsblood
5 Fadeleaf
4 Goldthorn

I just mounted up and spent the time wandering around. Blindweed grows near the water, the rest grows on the (relatively) dry land.

There is a rather large amount of this in the Swamp of Sorrows, all through out the center mire area.

I'm in the western area of Swamp of Sorrows and this stuffs poppin up everywhere on my minimap...but when I appear to be standing right on top of it I cant find a thing :S guess they don't call it blindweed for nothin lol

Any ideas to why I can't pick this stuff? If its of any help my Herb lvl is 244 now.. this sucks lol

Almost exclusively found within Swamp of Sorrows, you can also find a few of these around the tar pits in Un'goro Crater.

These herbs become invaluable to anyone leveling alchemy or are reaching the final stretches of leveling, since Greater Intellect potions are cheap to make, and superior mana potions are sought after by many classes relying heavily on mana for questing and dungeons.

As of this date, the best place I've found is Feralas, along the edges of fresh water, especially the lake at Dream Bough in northern Feralas by the road in from Desolace.

It seems like the spawn rate has been reduced in general or at Swamp of Sorrows. I spent quite a while there and was lucky to find 2-3 spawns every 20 minutes. Anyone having any good spawn rates anywhere?

Apparently, blindweed can also be found in Zangarmarsh.
