You get them from the Field of Giants (both sides of the Southern Gold Road), but you will have to fight your way through the scorpions and grubs guarding the nests (which look like giant oozing tree stumps).

In the new patch the scorpions now lay eggs, which you have to kill otherwise they will hatch, so be careful.

Silithid Eggs can be found at the cords: 42,70 and around in that area.

A word of caution :
Do NOT destroy any extra quest items while the quest it active.
Your quest may not complete even though you have the required items.

Once the quest is complete, you can remove the items. Quest items are soulbound, so you can't mail them.
Remember that some quest items are normal items, such as the tradeable 掘地鼠 or soulbound 鋼鬃大盾.
