All Emblem of Frost cloaks now have a socket and their base power slightly reduced.

New stats:

+90 Agility
+90 Stamina
Blue Socket
(Socket Bonus: +4 Agility)
Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 60
Equip: Increases attack power by 105. (-16)
Equip: Increases your armor penetration rating by 52. (-8)

I know when many Fury warriors first looked at the EoF rewards, they wanted to upgrade their cloak with Might of the Ocean Serpent. However, this cloak provides more dps even if you have zero expertise according to Rawr.

It's 2nd BiS next to Insanity ToGC 25 agility cloak.

I'm struggling with getting this on my feral tank instead of Sentinel's Winter Cloak.

At a glance the Winter Cloak certainly looks better, but Rawr places this Cape just below it, with about 1k less survival (stam) and 1k less mitigation. However this cape has 1k more threat, and would double for cat form whereas the Winter Cloak would be fairly useless to a kitty.

Frost emblems are hard to come by so far, especially if you're not raiding Icecrown. If I was more into kitty spec I'd probably get this, but I suspect I'll end up with the Winter Cloak.

how does this cloak compare to anything else hunters can get in ICC? It looks very good, but I definitely do not want to drop 50 emblems on it if it will only be replaced with a lucky roll shortly.

Hey Ret Paladins,

According to Rawr, this cloak is roughly an 83 DPS increase over Might of the Ocean Serpent.

However, Shadowvault Slayer's Cloak doesn't cost you any emblems, and it's even better than the Recovered Scarlet Onslaught Cape by roughly 8 DPS.

Also keep in mind that you should always get your 4 pieces of T10 before you start spending emblems on accessories.

So, if you already have your T10 gear, the RNG Gods don't like you, and you're in a hurry to upgrade your cloak, this is a great one to get.

I can't decide if I should get this on my arms warrior... I honestly don't need any more expertice, so the strength version would be a bit of a waste.

Would it be crazy to spend my first 50 frost emblems on this? Instead of tier 10 armor for my hunter?

Seems like the only other option for a pre-raid epic cloak requires mining a non-heroic dungeon for 10 or more runs, while the frost emblems will come if I just keep running random heroics.
