I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that it's BoE. MMOchamp shows that it drops from the regular 25man Gunship fight, so it theoretically shouldn't be too hard to acquire as a drop, but as mentioned, this will be in quite high demand by ferals (and maybe even rogues). I'd expect a hefty price tag when this pops up in the AH.

Three gem slots (extra 120 attack power to maximise poisons)

Expertise is always good aswell. Some Mutilate Rogues tend to not get expertise up to the 26 cap but I think this will be a great upgrade to my T.85 chest and has enough expertise for me to lose my Yogg-25 ring and Golem-Shard Sticker (yes ToC hates me) and still be at 26 expertise.

Found in the chest after completing the 25man (normal) gunship encounter. Wowhead is currently displaying incorrect stats.

Surprised nobody mentioned this, but this is also pretty much the best in slot chest for enhancement shaman.

This plus the 10-man cloak are almost enough to completely avoid gemming 4-5 slots, enchanting, and using the 10ToGC trinket just to meet the soft cap.

I will absolutely be looking to pick this up as the off set piece for my combat rogue. There is a painfully small amount of hit across our set items and this can float me 3% of it and still give me 3 sexy gem slots.
Expect this chest piece to be highly sought after.

Shadow Seeker's tunic is slightly better for mutilate rogues, but the difference is small enough that I'd recommend this, to save the badges for upgrading T10

Running rough numbers this is highly likely to be the off-set piece rogues take. The massive amount of hit rating and expertise, along with 3 gem slots, make it very attractive. It allows us to gem for more AP/Haste instead of gem'ing more hit or expertise to lower crit capping.

Bought mine for 8500g, money well spent. The big block of Hit and Exp is really nice, and for the most part lets you avoid gemming for expertise.

Just got mine for 12k...I swore not to pay more than 10k for this piece, but hey...greed won once more.

Biggest pleasure was to replace my +15 expertise on gloves with Crusher as well as replacing two expertise gems with AP ones.

Not to mention the nice pile of Hit on it that really helps with potential critcap issues concerning the upcoming T10 pieces.

This BoE chest is now one of the most sought after leather items in the game.

Speaking from the perspective of a end game raiding feral tank. The first post here suggests this chest is a great piece, I contend that this chest will nearly be a requirement for druid tanks to wear their 4pT10 bonus (which is amazing) as none of the individual BiS leather gear has any hit rating on it. Quite literally a ZERO in your hit rating box. Obviously that's not really viable, so this chest piece is all the more valuable with the massive 100 hit rating.

From other comments it appears that rogues and enh shaman will be bidding on it as well.

Thanks Blizz for bottlenecking feral gear through this chest piece.

The problem with the ToC=>ICC transition is that many of the armor slots swap stats with other slots, so often you have to get two or more pieces of new gear to make up for vital hit or expertise pieces.

Case in point: Acidmaw Boots => Frostbitten Fur Boots.

The loss of hit and expertise is drastic, especially if you had all your stats evened out by the end of the T9 raiding scene. The Sack of Wonders is an amazing item, and a must have for almost anyone.

I swear to God this thing is a myth. Raiding ICC every single week since it's come out and it's yet to drop from the fight itself and, since implemented, anybody's bags of frosty treasures. At this point I've started to accumulate gear I can't put on without regemming for hit and expertise because I don't have this damn thing. It also naturally can't be found on my server's auction house or trade channel. Is anyone else finding this to be frustratingly rare?

Shouldn't take too long to get this item. It drops from the gunship in 25 ICC. It has a chance to drop from the bag you get for doing the weekly in ICC 10 or 25. If all else fails check your AH since its BoE. Bought mine for about 12k a couple of weeks ago. Its pretty much required for a druid tank if you plan on getting your 4 piece of t10 since there's no hit rating on any of the pieces. The legs give expertise but more of this is never a bad thing until you hit 14% that is. On top of the nice stats it has 3 sockets you can use for stam or agility gems (which ever you perfer). This a very nice piece and I plan on using it till we can down the lich king then you can run heroic gunship and get the 277 version: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=50656. Which will probably be BIS even after the Ruby Scantum comes out because of the hit/expertise problem with the t10 set.

Paid 11,000 in the AH yesterday, as they dropped the day before and the noop feral kitty won the roll :(. I just had to, since the next day I was ready to pick up my 4th T10 piece, and the drop in +Hit would have been profound. Sure we don't stack +hit over anything else, but seriously with the complete lack of +Hit on our feral druid T10, it's just hard to tank when you can't hit anything.

I got pretty lucky on this piece, as most people on the server know me so I had someone approach me with it offering to sell to help me out. My guild itself doesn't do 25 man (barely 10m) but I've tanked 25 man pugs and runs for a couple guilds which is how I continue to maintain a decent gear score without leaving my bf's casual guild. Either way, this piece was a MUST for me, and I only had to pay 7k for it. Yay!

Using Aldriana's spreadsheet this chestpiece becomes BiS for combat rogues utilizing ICC25-normal/badge gear. It is required to achieve the best possible combination of gear outside heroic (50 DPS below Shadow Seeker's Tunic). The other obvious choice is Sanctified Shadowblade Chestpiece if you are starved on expertise.

It should be noted that this all depends on your gear. If you use other items with a ton of expertise you don't want this item. Remember that the expertise cap for all melee classes is 26 (and for combat rogues; 25 expertise is the best DPS-wise unless you can hit 214 expertise rating on the spot - wich never happends).

On my server they are selling like hot cakes. I've seen people bid between 5kg-15kg for this item on GDKPs (the 5k one was lucky he didn't have any other rogues to bid against), in the last week I've seen 1 sell in trade chat for 8k gold, there is one on our Ah for 10K Gold right now, and I've been posting to sell one I got totally lucky on getting from a ICC rep farming run, and been getting heaps of offers from 7k-8k pretty regularly, but I'm holding out for at least 9.5k because I know there will be people rich enough and willing to buy it and I want to be able to run my warlock through ICC as a bidder.

On the other hand, I have been getting people LoL-ing at me for asking such a hefty price or complaining about how expensive it is but, there is a demand for them, people are willing to pay for it, and it is an ICC ilvl264 that you are getting without having to invest any time or skill at all into being geared or killing anything. You are getting a best in slot item for a rogue barring heroic ICC content, without even setting foot in a raid, that is imho a great investment.

Getting and equipping this chest is several chest pieces you do not have to bother spending, time/gold/effort getting, enchanting or equipping, and it instantly upgrades your gear, possibly to catapult you into a raiding gs bracket. A good investment if you're lucky to get an opportunity to get your hands on one of these.

hrm. I feel bad for all the droods posting here. I've seen the thing drop at least 4 times inside of 2 months on 2 toons (4/20?) and I have it on my combat rogue but...meh. The exp is completely wasted. :-(
