Drops from the Horde Faction Champions (in other words, these drop for Alliance). Great boots, but due to the recent release of epic gems, I have decided to keep my Spellslinger's Slippers due to the raw spell power and my unwillingness to swap 56 haste for 64 crit. And if you're hit capped with Spellslinger's Slippers, then you don't want to trade the 41 spirit for 40 hit rating, it'd just be going to waste.

Either way though, these are easy enough to get and will make many casters happy.

Just an extra bit of info if you're having trouble on the Faction Champions:

Don't focus so much on CC, and focus burn the healers down as quick as you possibly can while interupting as many of their heals as possible. My guild tried to keep all of them CC'd, but due to Diminishing Returns it's extremely difficult. In addition, most CC has its duration reduced by up to 500-600% on the faction champions in comparison to players. Banish for instance lasts 30 seconds on a normal demon/elemental. When you try to banish the resto druid (which is classified as an elemental) banish will only have a 5 second duration. DR only makes it worse.

Once the healers are dead, the rest of the fight is pretty smooth. Just watch out for the warlock... His Hellfire, Fear and DoTs can be pretty brutal (not to mention his pet's spell lock).

CC's do not have a reduced duration on the Faction Champions in comparison to players. Somehow I think he mistakenly said "players" instead of "NPC's". The duration of CC that is applied to the Faction Champions are of the SAME length as the duration of CC applied to a player (taking into account diminishing returns too, where the first spell lasts for x seconds, the next spell lasts for x/2 seconds, and the 3 spell lasts for x/4 seconds, and then immune for 15 seconds).

It's recommended that the CC's be rotated (so if you were cc'ing a warrior, sheep -> sheep -> cyclone -> cyclone -> fear -> fear). Anyways my guild always CC's, and that fight is easy-fest. Well you still have to constantly move, but it's still easy-fest. I suppose if the guild was a lazy guild, then CC and moving might be too much for the wee lil guild, so burning the Faction Champions might be the best strategy (well the only strategy I suppose for a lazy guild).
