Actually, since it's best in slot for many and not that hard to find someone with the pattern if you count every guild that do ulduar on a server, tailor should respec mooncloth (very small fee in shattrah to respec to any specialization), so it's 20 days, and if you start asap, you can minimize how many mooncloth you'll need to buy from AH.

I was thinking, is the socket bonus worth getting for a shadow priest? Lets say with a Potent Monarch Topaz (+9 spell power and +8 critical strike rating). So thats +16 spell power and +8 Critical strike rating vs. +19 spell power. I know the difference is very small in DPS but every little counts :)

In 3.2 it looks as though this will be replaced by Belt of the Eternal in which I highly suggest Loot Masters give this to a Healer over any DPS class, as they have equivalent belts with Hit Ratings on them.

This new belt will give:

+2 Intellect
+16 Spirit
+24 Spellpower
-8 Crit Rating
-1 Red Socket

Something I really think they should fix about this and a lot of items like this, is the damn Sell Price to vendors, it's only 4g. It clearly costs 2k+ to make.

I've been currently making and selling these belts on my server (only Alliance-side person with the pattern supposedly). Putting them on the AH for 7500g and they sell within the hour. Runed Orbs are only 250g now and continue to sink, so it is a lot easier now to get.
