I almost lost it, i had a 10-day free account when i get it and i couldn't use any mail boxes.
i got the game working perfectly (normal account, full client, AddOns) 1 day before the mail dissapears (30 days)

You can still mail it to other characters as long as you have it in one of your bags. One of my old characters still had it, so I mailed it to my newer ones.

I had it on the characters I had at the time and kept the icon in the bank. Then I would send it to any new characters i created. Somewhere along the line it disappeared and now the characters that already had it still do but it is not in my bags or bank and does not appear on new characters like the other 'bind to account' pets do! :( boo.

Now available via the 20th Anniversary Celebration Event from a vendor for 10 bronze celebration tokens. =P I wonder if it's still an item you have to carry in your bag. Prolly not, right? And account-wide, too.
