Pingu is a Swiss animated television series created by Otmar Gutman, about a family of penguins who live at the South Pole. The main character is their son and title character, Pingu.

The programme is set in Antarctica, where the penguin families and businesses live and work in igloos.

One reason for Pingu's international success is its lack of dialogue per se. All dialogue is in a honking "penguin language" (called Penguinese), and was initially performed without script.

As with a lot of pets, Pengu has a noise-on-click. The squeaky chittering sound has got to be one of the cutest things I've heard out of the vanity pets thus far. Awww, I'm utterly in love with him!

There are two simple series of quests in the Tundra that render a nice bit of rep towards Pengu but that may easily be overlooked while questing, so don't miss out on them before you start grinding out the dailies.

I'm a little bit confused and I hope someone can clarify for me. I've done that quest chain from Elder Atkanok, yet when I look on my character sheet, I don't have rep towards a Tuskarr faction. I've also looked at wowhead for the faction and I can't find it. What am I missing?

It was time for Pingu's bedtime. He falls asleep while Mother is reading him a story. He then has a bizarre dream. The igloo jumps up and down, and then it floats away. His bed sprouts legs and moves him around. Although being rattled at first, he has lots of fun with the bed, but he is unaware that a giant non-tusked walrus is stalking him. The walrus eventually shows himself to Pingu and puts the igloo on top of him and the bed. The walrus takes the igloo off, plays with Pingu as if Pingu was a plaything (They don't play a game!), and as the bed tries to escape, the walrus takes the mattress from it and eats it like a chocolate bar. While the walrus is distracted, Pingu and the bed run off in fear, but Pingu isn't watching where he's going, trips over a ledge and falls down a steep mountain slope. The minute he lands at the bottom, Pingu wakes up, finds out that his "snowy mountain" is actually the bed, which isn't moving, and realizes it was all a dream. Pingu then sadly tells Mother all about it as she comforts him.

I don't know if it's just me but Pengu was flying with me today! I was on my Magic Flying Carpet... then got on my normal flying mount, and he was still flying with me! It was so cute. I really hope it's not a bug and that he'll always fly with me. =)

If you target Pengu and spam the /sexy emote on him, he will eventually get on his belly and slide away, leaving a dusty cloud trail behind him! Then he runs back. Pretty nifty :D

Well, I found out something pretty neat. If you type /sexy a few times while targetting Pengu, he will slide off with the little on-click chitter sound he makes. Pretty cute.

Anyone other then me think this guy is a reference mebby also to the Evil Penguin from Zoo Tycoon 2? Both were rock-hoppers and have evil red eyes. Im not saying its not a reference to Pengi, but mebby to both?

After they nerfed Pengu's demonic eyes, the only obvious difference between him and Mr. Chilly is the fact that Mr. Chilly has a white face. But there's another difference you may not have noticed: Pengu is actually larger than Mr. Chilly.
