Only a 30 AP difference from the new "savagery"(massacre), so I'd say this is still not gonna be very situationally useful, imo. Unless when we get to Icecrown Citadel it is COMPLETELY undead, not even bosses or trash that aren't(like a few in Naxx are, with the bats or non-undead DKs in Military Quarter)

I play as a ret paladin, and i really notice when Exorcism is grey'd out in Naxx, which seems to be 50% of mobs.

True, Massacre is better all around, only 30 less attack power and works on everything.

However, Massacre is going to run you apx 700+ gold, where as this will only cost you apx, 150 or less. I would never put this on a main weapon, but as a backup farming weapon it's kind of fun. I do spend a lot of time farming in Icecrown however, so it was worth it for me. (also, since I was leveling enchanting on an alt anyway, so not too bad cost wise for the point).

Overall, pretty useless enchant, but not entirely so.

There are only 3 fights in Icecrown Citadel that are not undead. One is Valithiria Dreamwalker, where the objective is to heal the boss, while dps takes care of the undead adds. Another is Gunship battle, which is a complete joke (hardmode yet to be seen). And the last is Blood-Queen Lana'thel, which may or may not require alot of dps. Either way, its a very useful enchant if you're min-maxing for ICC as a Hunter or a bear tank. For the Blood-Queen and Gunship, you could very easily swap out your ToC weapon with massacre. (Assuming you have a decent ToC weapon)

As Vind said, Scourgebane seems to be cheaper than Massacre, and as Wowvocate pointed out, the only non-undead boss fight is Gunship, which is rofl in normal (yet to see HM).

The only real justification of not using this is if you're:

a) not a hunter (not sure if zerking and mongoose are still better for melee/drood tanks)
b) not doing endgame raids
c) are doing endgame raids, but are doing 25 togc progression (which still have the last two as undead)

But again, the 30 extra AP isn't a big deal, won't show up on your unbuffed AP, and is only good for hunters (as far as I know). It's not worth re-enchanting your already-massacre'd weapon, but if your hunter 2H weapon doesn't have an enchant yet I would definately consider this.

Worth noting that despite the fact that the bonus AP that Scourgebane grants you does NOT transfer to the hunter's pet, it is still BiS enchant for a 2H-wielding hunter in ICC, according to spreadsheet data as of 3.3.0.

If this enchant works on hunters its better than massacre for hunters that raiding ICC.. all thrash/bosses are undead except gunship battle that doesnt matter tbh ;)
