There are a ton of rhinos just south of Amber Ledge, making it very convenient. Just go down the slope and you'll see them. They travel in packs, which means you can AoE the crap out of them... Takes me about 5 mins to get the 4 rhino meat required for the Daily Quest... And that's counting the skinning.

I have been receiving a massive amount of Rhino Meat from the packs of Rhinos in the Borean Tundra. More specifically, around 43,74 to 48,72... just west of Valiance Keep. Those are just rough estimates to give you a good picture of where I have been killing them.

These travel in packs of about 5. These packs consist of Wooly Rhino Matriarchs and Wooly Rhino Calves. They are not hostile, and only do close range attacks, making AoE easy.

The Wooly Rhino Bulls Bulls, however, are hostile and tend to be a bit more stronger.

As a level 73 frost mage with Improved Blizzard (and the other "slowing" talents, making my Blizzard slow by 85%), I can AoE at least 3 packs of these down at once, resulting in tons of Rhino Meat (I am a Cook). At one point there was a Skinner behind me skinning all of the corpses, so this is a great idea if you want to level skinning.

It is very good experience, especially if rested, and it gives you tons of meat and many skins if you are a Skinner.

I received about 100 Rhino Meat, about two bags full of vender trash (about 40 gold, after selling it), one BoE green, and one BoE blue in an hour of non-stop AoE killing.

Note that the wyrms that fly around in this area have the annoying habit of tormenting anyone who hunt the rhinos, since apparently they feed on them too (a rhino being taken away by a wyrm is a strange sight)

was farming them by ambers ledge for about1 hours. got 200 meat and about 50g in vendor trash as a prot warrior at level 80. luckily a friendly rogue came by and cleaned the bodys up after me. he ended up getting 100 leather and 2 furs. mind you i as pulling about 20-30 at a time.

As a hunter you can tame a fresh level 75 Gorilla (if you don't have one already) and gather packs of about 10-15 to volley easily.

Make sure to turn off Smack so your pet has plenty of focus for Thunderstomp. Just clump them up using the attack command, mend, and let him get off about two stomps before you volley so he builds up a decent amount of aggro.

drop rate appears to been seriously nerfed in last patch.
only dropping at about 10% now, used to be 50% or better.
probably why the cooking daily doesnt require as much meat these days and is usually just a local picked quest too.

I had farmed in a lot of places for this meat and i can say That the best Spot is by Far in Storm Peaks, especifically around 65,45, just Ahead the Camp Taunka'lo

the Romping Rhinos travel in circles in groupes of 4-5 rhinos and they die really easy. 50% of drop fast Respawn and the paradise for any Skinner

As a warlock you can use your voidwalker to round up like 3-5 packs of them when u are about to get your last pack when all the mobs are situated use your aoe taunt to pull any of them who are attacking you and just SoC or Rain of Fire them down. Also helps to use your voidwalkers little protection shield since they changed how it works instead of killing the voidwalker it takes away like 2k hp.

As a Feral Druid tank the spot south of Amber Ledge in Borean Tundra was an amazing spot for me I just ran between groups spamming swipe. If I got lucky I would be able to chain pull atleast 7 groups of 4-6 Rhinos = lots of Rhino meat as you can imagine.

I farmed leather for awhile in stormpeak area and ended up with around 70 of these.. i put them in auction house for 50 gold per 20 x and they all sold within 30 min..

150 easy gold. so if you farm leathers there dont forget to pick these puppies up as they are in high demand and sell for good.

The Shardhorn rhino in Solazar Basin also drops rhino meat at about 48% drop rate. (62293 out of 128454)

They drop chilled meat now since patch 3.10. I've killed 20+ rhinos there and they only dropped chilled meat which then never have before for me. I'm guessing the Mammoths there no longer drop mammoth meat since that is also needed for the cooking dailies in Dalaran.

I'm guessing this is because of the Dalaran cooking dailies that they screwed with. Raised the level restriction to 78 now. Same
with the jc dailies I'm told.

Blizzard no longer wants the 70-77 to get Dalaran dailies for some innane reason.

I'm no longer playing since the 3.10 nerf patch so if anyone could verify that is still the case and not a glitch that has been fixed it would be appreciated.

I was able to get rhino meat from the Wooly Rhino Calves and the Wooly Rhino Matriachs with about a 20% drop rate and completed this at level 74 with my NE Druid. So, these quests are still available to 70-77's despite the previous poster.
