Yeah, I don't think it's all that hot since I usually would cast this spell at the beginning of a fight to throw out some powerful crap before they got close to me. It seems that this glyph would change the way this spell was used completely since the cooldown is too long to use pre-battle and mid-battle... oh well. I still like my improved scorch, evocation & water elemental glyphs more! :-)

This does not currently remove the Death Knight snare, Chains of Ice. Whether this is a bug or not I have no idea, but part of my strategy in general was to Ice block the silence, blink from the Death Grip, and use this glyph on the snare which never seems to work.

Edit: this may have something to do with dispell resistance, since after posting this my results were mixed and I am unsure about this mechanic without further testing.

Edit: Likely interacts with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=49568 to produce failed attempts to dispell, should be changing in 3.0.8 as Chains is not a disease.

I simply LOVE this glyph for pvp. Sure icy veins has a pretty long cooldown but removing a tongues/slow or snare effect at a clutch time wins games.

This glyph has always removed chains of ice to my understanding, if it didnt it is now fixed.

Arena tested, Gladiator approved. This glyph is an underappreciated gem that is key to winning fights against rogues, death knights, feral druids, warriors, pretty much any melee class under the sun. If you learn to use it correctly (keeping that rogue safely away, wasting the DK's last frost rune, etc.) it will be that crucial move in the everlasting battle that is kiting. Cheap, off the GCD and more dependable than your dog. Get it, use it, love it.
